    I popped out to Samford being my local. Very quiet for a Sunday. Was great to have it to me and my riding partner

      Would have been prime dirt as well with the light rain that was going about!

    How does the 1 X 9 go with cruising speed, climbing and top speed? I’m considering this as a road/gravel path exercise machine, as my MTB is a slug on road and is not at all comfortable to mile munch on.

      The gears are actually pretty forgiving, I've had no issue with climbing even on loose fire roads. Climbs like a dream too! If you are really going for it, you might top out but I only experience this around 35km/h+. The bike is great if you are looking for something to zip around on for fitness/commuting as well.

      @@BicycleCurious Cheers, thanks mate for taking the time to answer my question. It’s certainly made the short list. Such a great looking bike for the price also.

    Did several repeat laps of a short 2km stretch of the Ithaca bikepath within my suburb this morning. Mask was stiffling! Not quite the same as my usual ride, but grateful to get out.

      It certainly isn't the climate for all day mask wearing exercise that for sure. But of course any day on the bike is a good day regardless!

      Will have to make an effort and head to Cootha again soon, I remember it was in pretty rough shape a few weeks back when we had the heavy rain.

    What height are you and what size bike did you go for

    • @BicycleCurious
      @BicycleCurious  3 года назад

      Hey Brendan, I'm 193cm tall so I went for the XXL. The sizing charts on Bicycles Online seem to line up pretty well!

    How safe to go for a walk in gold coast.. time within 3:00am and 4:00am

    • @BicycleCurious
      @BicycleCurious  3 года назад

      Depends which part of the Gold Coast and on what day I would imagine. I've been out at that time around Surfers Paradise and had no issues. Most people would be in bed on a weeknight. When in doubt, bring a mate!

    do not lock your elbows. All the micro bumps and vibration are going into your elbow joint, may cause injuries. Cheers

      It seems to be a bad habit I've picked up, one that I am trying to kick. :P Let's put it down to my inexperience on road bikes.
