That rapper is so fuckin' wrong and he doesn't even realise it. He pretty much disrespected BTS just because they DARED to bring hip-hop to another level. Lemme see him singing, rapping and dancing at the same time, and also smiling while doing it. I don't think he would be able to even accomplish a tenth of what BTS have accomplished. Yes, they wear make-up and they can be called idols, so what? Does that minimalise their will to make music and to be heard by the world? I don't think so. Frankly, I didn't even know who that man is until he made himself ridiculous. I think he would only try to search for publicity, by the means of offending BTS. By the way, can I say how proud I am of RapMon and Suga, they had so much patience that it amazes me. BTS book has come out...I never knew about this. Tears are rolling down my face and I've never been more proud of BTS. You don't give in and entertain enemies. The fact that RM was able to understand different viewpoints regardless how he felt about the intention from this person, he managed to be respectful and so was Suga. They can easily debate anyone without having to cause injury. I think they chose to be leaders and examples because there wasn't any of that for them.

I'm so proud of where BTS is today. It's very hard to give non-offensive and professional answers when there are a-holes being disrespectful. RM and Suga did an amazing job. I am so proud to stan artists that not only value music but also value the emotions, reality and people. Never have I ever heard any insult or disrespectful words from the 7 of them despite facing such trying situations and conversations. So despite the fact that my blood was boiling up while watching this video, I'll refrain from swearing. Because that's what BTS has taught us. "Being girls' icon" - so what? It's infinite times better than listening to cribbing and soaking in negativity! Over the years BTS has been an icon for not just "girls" but also boys and "macho men". Bangtan is pioneer in paving a musical way that is free from stereotypes. Proud to stan such people!

힙합은 원래 차별과 억압을 받아온 흑인들의 음악/문화가 미국같은 곳에서 이미 대중문화로 정착된 장르인데 한국인들이 정통 힙합을 하면 얼마나 하겠다고 저렇게 서로 까대고..ㅉㅉ 저 분들 한국 문화에 대해선 얼마나 관심이 있으신지.. 개인적으로 힙합 장르에 공감하지 않지만 그래도 방탄소년단이 듣기 쉬운 힙합을 K팝화하고 대중화했다는 점은 어느 정도 인정해줘야 할 듯 하네요. 칸예웨스트도 대중가수고 돈 엄청 많이 법니다.

약 20년 전쯤.. 디지털 마스타 DT 주석 cb mass 부터 시작해서 어언 20년 동안 힙합 팬인데.. 언더와 오버 경계는 에픽하이, 슈프림팀이 대중적으로 크게 성공 했을 때 부터 이미 다 허물어졌고 언더/오버, 리얼 힙합 정신이니 뭐니 같은 유치한 싸움도ㅋㅋ 저 당시에도 이미 오글거리는 구닥다리 논쟁이 된지 오래였음. 비프리 음악성이 어쩌구 해봤자 결국 취향 차이 일뿐 객관적인 증명이 불가능한 분야.. 유일하게 객관적으로 볼 수 있는 지표는 음악 차트인데.. 멜론이 아닌 빌보드를 보게 만드는 저 소년들이 누가봐도 승리자다.

I think this is probably the day that Suga (and the rest of them as well, but especially Suga) started to dedicate so much to his fans. In every interview that asks BTS why they are doing what they do, or who's attention would they like to catch, he always responds with "I'm doing this for A.R.M.Ys" because he knows that even if big names in the hip hop/rap industry don't acknowledge him, or care about the message he's trying to get across with his music, then their fans will. Because the fans are not limited by the type of "rap industry image" they need to live up to. If I could meet Suga, i would definitely thank him for not giving up in his mission, even though there are people like B-Free, who think that you can only be a certain way if you're trying to perform a certain genre. Besides, BTS were especially only a rookie group at this point, so they had/have PLENTY of time for improvement, and time to perfect their own style. It's been almost 2 years since this came out and i'm still super heated over it lol

Rapmon and Suga keep mentioning that they're amateur but the way they answer to all those stupid question calmly and respectfully is what you call professionalism and I salute them for that. (sorry for my bad english)
B-Free and 'em are talking as if Bangtan Boyz have strong feminine mannerism. From what I've seen they don't. So what?...they wear foundation and Eye liner. Men like Dave Navarro do to. He doen't have strong feminine mannerisms to me. I think B-Free and other K-hiphop artist are irritated that idols are calling there group a "hip-hop" group when they don't make the exact same music they make, they don't carry the exact same mannerisms as they do, they don't know enough about hiphop culture and history as the do. But he has never heard their music and don't know enough about them to place them under that category. As far as hiphop culture and music goes it has evolved and will continue to evolve just like other genre's and all cultures around the world. Hip-hop culture in the states come under fire cause it's different than it was in the 90's. I've heard their music and it sounds like hiphop to me.
This was actually one of the first few videos i got to watch of bts back in 2014 and i would always say that I hope they get their revenge, and here i am in 2021

His motive behind those questions can only be trying to bring BTS back to the hip hop scene and leave the idol scene, OR just dissing them because they throw away their roots for fame, and call it temptation. Well that's his view of idols. And it just happen that BTS doesn't share his view. BTS just want their music to be heard, they love music, hip hop music especially. They are willing to scarify the hip hop culture to achieve what they want. They are being realistic. Be-free or whatever persevered and made music underground and continued eating trash and spitting trash, and yet his future doesn't look like anything will come out of his perseverance. Especially after this. Such a person should achieve something first before telling others what to do. If not it is very easy for anyone to think that he is just being jealous of how famous BTS is. Onlookers will look down on him even if we don't meant to.

That rapper is so fuckin' wrong and he doesn't even realise it. He pretty much disrespected BTS just because they DARED to bring hip-hop to another level. Lemme see him singing, rapping and dancing at the same time, and also smiling while doing it. I don't think he would be able to even accomplish a tenth of what BTS have accomplished. Yes, they wear make-up and they can be called idols, so what? Does that minimalise their will to make music and to be heard by the world? I don't think so. Frankly, I didn't even know who that man is until he made himself ridiculous. I think he would only try to search for publicity, by the means of offending BTS. By the way, can I say how proud I am of RapMon and Suga, they had so much patience that it amazes me. They are so much younger than I am, and it makes me question my life, since they are so mature, more than I am and they acted professionally in a shitty situation. BTS book has come out...I never knew about this. Tears are rolling down my face and I've never been more proud of BTS. You don't give in and entertain enemies. The fact that RM was able to understand different viewpoints regardless how he felt about the intention from this person, he managed to be respectful and so was Suga. They can easily debate anyone without having to cause injury. I think they chose to be leaders and examples because there wasn't any of that for them.

I'm so proud of where BTS is today. It's very hard to give non-offensive and professional answers when there are a-holes being disrespectful. RM and Suga did an amazing job. I am so proud to stan artists that not only value music but also value the emotions, reality and people. Never have I ever heard any insult or disrespectful words from the 7 of them despite facing such trying situations and conversations. So despite the fact that my blood was boiling up while watching this video, I'll refrain from swearing. Because that's what BTS has taught us. "Being girls' icon" - so what? It's infinite times better than listening to cribbing and soaking in negativity! Over the years BTS has been an icon for not just "girls" but also boys and "macho men".
Bangtan is pioneer in paving a musical way that is free from stereotypes. Proud to stan such people!

약 20년 전쯤.. 디지털 마스타 DT 주석 cb mass 부터 시작해서 어언 20년 동안 힙합 팬인데.. 언더와 오버 경계는 에픽하이, 슈프림팀이 대중적으로 크게 성공 했을 때 부터 이미 다 허물어졌고 언더/오버, 리얼 힙합 정신이니 뭐니 같은 유치한 싸움도ㅋㅋ 저 당시에도 이미 오글거리는 구닥다리 논쟁이 된지 오래였음. 비프리 음악성이 어쩌구 해봤자 결국 취향 차이 일뿐 객관적인 증명이 불가능한 분야.. 유일하게 객관적으로 볼 수 있는 지표는 음악 차트인데.. 멜론이 아닌 빌보드를 보게 만드는 저 소년들이 누가봐도 승리자다.

I think this is probably the day that Suga (and the rest of them as well, but especially Suga) started to dedicate so much to his fans. In every interview that asks BTS why they are doing what they do, or who's attention would they like to catch, he always responds with "I'm doing this for A.R.M.Ys" because he knows that even if big names in the hip hop/rap industry don't acknowledge him, or care about the message he's trying to get across with his music, then their fans will.
Because the fans are not limited by the type of "rap industry image" they need to live up to. If I could meet Suga, i would definitely thank him for not giving up in his mission, even though there are people like B-Free, who think that you can only be a certain way if you're trying to perform a certain genre. Besides, BTS were especially only a rookie group at this point, so they had/have PLENTY of time for improvement, and time to perfect their own style. It's been almost 2 years since this came out and i'm still super heated over it lol

B-Free and 'em are talking as if Bangtan Boyz have strong feminine mannerism. From what I've seen they don't. So what?...they wear foundation and Eye liner. Men like Dave Navarro do to. He doen't have strong feminine mannerisms to me. I think B-Free and other K-hiphop artist are irritated that idols are calling there group a "hip-hop" group when they don't make the exact same music they make, they don't carry the exact same mannerisms as they do, they don't know enough about hiphop culture and history as the do. But he has never heard their music and don't know enough about them to place them under that category. As far as hiphop culture and music goes it has evolved and will continue to evolve just like other genre's and all cultures around the world. Hip-hop culture in the states come under fire cause it's different than it was in the 90's. I've heard their music and it sounds like hiphop to me.
This was actually one of the first few videos i got to watch of bts back in 2014 and i would always say that I hope they get their revenge, and here i am in 2021

Each and everyone walk on our own path, make our own decision and bear with whatever consequences ourselves. His motive behind those questions can only be trying to bring BTS back to the hip hop scene and leave the idol scene, OR just dissing them because they throw away their roots for fame, and call it temptation. Well that's his view of idols. And it just happen that BTS doesn't share his view.
BTS just want their music to be heard, they love music, hip hop music especially. They are willing to scarify the hip hop culture to achieve what they want. They are being realistic.
Be-free or whatever persevered and made music underground and continued eating trash and spitting trash, and yet his future doesn't look like anything will come out of his perseverance. Especially after this. Such a person should achieve something first before telling others what to do. If not it is very easy for anyone to think that he is just being jealous of how famous BTS is. Onlookers will look down on him even if we don't meant to.
