Judging by the abilities of main characters and their moves, I think this is not the opening (or even a proper/complete part) because this doesn't set the mood of eerieness, helplessness, and horror that you may want to escape from, like by its predecessors. I hope the storyline is as dark, mysterious, and emotional like LN I & II. Like nightmare is nightmare. Period!

in LN 1 six was alone but in LN 2 six was with mono so people in that time must have said the same thing like you that now the character does not look helpless or dark but reality was different. The characters in LN3 are too big to defeat so for sure it wouldn't be like assault game like you are imagining. Like in LN2 mono has power to teleport through TV does this ability degrades the spookiness of game? The place in LN3 is named as 'Nowhere' in all parts every place had specific name doesn't it give anyone a nightmare?
I think this is either the opening or one of the starting 2-3 places. Them waking up on a bed similar to the maw makes me think that and maybe the nightmare they were having becomes partly real because of six inheriting the lady’s powers in the 1st game. Either that or this is the backstory for the lady

What we would need for LN4 would be travel by train, fighting against a train conductor, escape and enter a quarry where we would fight a miner and eventually escape him, and finally fight against the contractor the one calling the shots for the train delivery and miner

Also some people think there could be betrayal or thoughts at betrayal but personally i dont rhink it woulf happen as the game is co op online and yes single as well but if its a 2 player game they probably wouldn't make them spilt up or get taken away from each kther as ciyld be online co op or single player and would be weird if you didn't know what the other character was doing, ig if it was a cutscene right at the end it maybe could haooen but would be weird if it was the same jdea as the LN2 ending tho

Little nightmare l was overall overwhelmed me at some point l think especially, it was obviously well-made that they have putted into something in that game for example, its like the maw in that game l think by the way the most characters in that game was really outrageous because of those things imagine, its like their appearances or something the whole things what l've played this game on steam was the one of the greatest games in the world however, the little nightmare ll was kind of sad to me because little nightamre ll wasn't as terrfied as NH 1 l guess because which wasn't overwhelmed me (even if its inclhding some of jumpscare in that game) but l can't wait that game comes out on steam because NH 4 adds some of system in that game moreover it is really delight that we'll be playing together its like co-op mod co-op mod is definitely overrating for now the most people who want to be playing with their friends in that game l'll be exploring with my friends in nowhere although the monster baby will be attacking me as much and facing us but even if l met her visually however l'll be not terrfying it with my friends l think
