I can see why you'd think he's distant, but trust me, this is just his personality. He's always been like this, and he's said before that he keeps to himself most of the times. He loves being with Beast, but he'd rather be an observer than to partake in their weird antics :p either that, or he's off in his own little world. And he doesn't speak out much either because he only does it when necessary so that's why you'll see him quiet a lot. So yeah, don't mistake his introvert-ness from him being distant because trust me, Beast is one happy family :3
Novi I see a lot of people commenting on how Hyunseung doesn't seem to be interacting with everyone else much, but it doesn't worry me. For one, Hyunseung has always been very shy, quiet, and kept to himself. I think especially after Troublemaker debuted, Hyuna brought out a new found confidence in him. You see now how Hyunseung is doing crazy 4D things off to the side, inside of standing idly. With the recent solo debut, it feel like Hyunseung realizing he can be independent and still strong; this isn't to say he doesn't still love beast though. I feel like we should let Hyunseung enjoy his independence and confidence. During individual promotions, he mentioned how he wants to be strong, prove himself, etc. He also mentioned that when he went solo, he has to do everything, like interviews, by himself, instead of depending on the other members. I really think it's just his personality and there's a lot of stuff that goes on behind the camera where Hyunseung is just as loving and happy with Beast. Maybe the editor is cutting his interactions out. Who knows? I'm going to trust that Beast is all happy together, as 6 and as 1.
