Love your videos! You and your dad are great. Let’s learn more about your life and family please. Do you have siblings where do you live-- by yourself, family ? Where your farm is beautiful!
I'm Just an Old Geezer, Workin' right along side you Guys, In my Mind!! Reminds me of my days On the Farm Rakin' hay with an old Iron wheel Rake pulled by a Massy Harris 22 or Allis Chalmers WD-45. How times have Changed.
Brian, anytime the baler has sit for a short period you must cylce the roll brake lever right before next use. It’s simple but just a pain to have to remember each time. You do not have to reload the roll, just release brake and then engage it and you’re good. Thanks for taking the time to share your wonderful videos.
thats ok i still have pleasure watching your videos you take the time to show everyone just what it takes to be a farmer and you and your dad do a great job
So pleased 😀 for you a bumper harvest of alfalfa! Mesmerising vision always of Lake Sonne, expanding and increasing at will! Love 💕 watching mowing, raking and baling hay with the aerial shots and music. Glad also to see the cattle 🐮 happy 😊
Deere wrap is prestretched. I don’t know if that’s the reason, but that’s the main difference that I know of. People that use Swanson have even backed off a little on the amount of wrap per bale but I leave it the same. Plus it’s cheaper!
Your vidya's are a great expression of the fellowship you have with your Dad. Never let anything become an obstacle to that. That is real wealth. Cheers Gents.
Great video. You do great drone footage. I've been off work since March with my 10 year old ( thanks Covid). So i have missed out on cutting and bailing hay this year. Been pretty dry up here in Canada. We need rain bad. Thanks again
Great video miss this time of year regarding the net my bailer used to do it too on the first one then it used to go just fine to 🤔🤔🤔 oh I'm a farms son from Scotland UK
I run the 569 bailer behind a 4440. And when replacing the net wrap im very generous with the baby powder, and make sure there's 3 points where I stuff it into the rollers (sides and middle) just barely between the rollers. And I replace the net wrap belt annually. Love the videos get ready to ship the tractor to Canada 😂
I find that Goldbond powder works best when I'm haying. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is the best Black Sabbath album/CD ever. Have a Great Weekend and tell Jeff I said hey.
Absolutely love the hay making videos, they're so relaxing. It's like you guys took a small chunk of Florida and smacked it over ur farm with the amount of rain u get lol. Keep on keepin on dude
Enjoy the video cole glad you are felling better it’s hot here in Kentucky looking forward to the next vedio tell your dad and mom I hey and the rest of your family you and your family be safe
Dude. You could literally string together hours and hours and hours of every bit of footage you have from cutting, raking & baling and people would watch it. Well, I would lol awesome childhood memories on the back of a hay wagon when we were doing square bales and thinking those long, hot summer days would never end. I miss 1980-something.
Always great videos! I really enjoy the educational moments as I know nearly zilch about farming. You and Brian have a great sense of humor. I am glad to see Jeff in the videos also.
You all make a tough job look like a good time. Keep up the good work! Great job on the editing, and giving us a view into the backbone of our country.
Brian, in about 3 hours could you bring me one of those Taco salads too ? Extra beets I like them ! Please and thank you, and thank Miss Tami also, that looked more impressive than the ones you get at a restaurant. At least what I remember it looked like in restaurants long ago when we were still allowed to go in and eat.
I can't wait to pick up that tractor so I can meet the other Cole with an old soul and your parents. Great videos, good wholesome work ethic. It'll be a good drive from Michigan and I'll bring my Cole if he'll take time off of work...lol 😍
FYI I got a new 560 baler last year and had a terrible time with first bale wrapping witch I thought I was the only on having trouble. I learned that new baler rubber roll is soft and wanted to grab net after a year of use I have not had problems on year 2 .Also I couldn't run my RPM's over 1700 while wrapping and that helped alot! Good luck!!👍
The best channels show their mistakes.....probably not all of them, but they show or talk about them. We like to follow honest, genuine people, not "perfect" ones.
On our 566 and 569 we put static discharge chains (on the 569 we attached it to our pickup head gauge wheel) and let them drag on the ground while we’re baling.
Sonne Dad! We have the same baler after a couple days of no use we usually pull the net wrap off the roller and then re thread it in the roller and it seems to work every time
Try this next time. Cycle the brake on the wrap roller 2 times, like if you was starting a new roll. Only 2 times. It should help solve the problem. We fought ours for 2 seasons before our local dealer showed us this. Our biggest problem was grass hay becoming lodged between the metal roller in the front, just above the pickup reel, and binding everything up. Traded that pile for a Kubota, and have no regrets.
Hey just thinking about your Baler machine- check your belts to see if you have the tension set tight enough. Sometimes if a belt is stretched out or getting ready to break (check joints) it can cause the issue, until the baby powder/talc is ran through the machine. A secondary thought would be to take a high pressure air hose and blow out the inside of the baler area as well as belts to see if crude is caked inside causing it to throw out a bad bale when started each time. Just an idea- Great video - be safe and have fun :)
Hey again guys!! Well Cole, it was fantastic that you got out on the yard before your Dad but hey, you had really bad bed hair! I noticed through the video that it managed to 'right' itself and got back to your usual style. Maybe you could drop the loader bucket off on a trailer or a stack of pallets to get a better view of it?. With the baler throwing its first bale occur with a new roll of wrap or any time your Dad starts baling any crop? You could try re-threading the wrap when you start baling. So, as you roar headlong towards 100.000 subs (fantastic) I feel really proud to be a part of your journey. You have done an awesome job so far so keep it up buddy, I found myself daydreaming today about entering my local ploughing match with a nice old international tractor of U.S.A descent....I'd be the star of the show for sure. Stay safe guys and keep the regerts to a minimum.
We have a 854 John Deere baler every time you go to the field role that rubber roller back about 2 turns it will work good. Over night that net will stick to the rubber
Could you devote time to explaining how the auto steer works, what it looks like and how you set it up for the field you are about to address? Really enjoying your videos.
We have the same problem with our 560m baler with the net wrap. Johndeere says it's dust and moisture on the rollers . We wipe our rollers down before we powder them and it works out 90 percent of the time. Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends !
I absolutely loved this vid...I actually laughed out loud when you were telling the ‘squirrel’ to get out of the ‘kern’!!! Question...do you ever get to bale?? I’m guessing that’s your dad’s favorite thing to do! So what’s your favorite? Fencing?
Hi Cole! You sure do have some fantastic videos for us to enjoy. Yes, I like the fact you show all the failures and success stories. It's not always easy hooking up a bucket even when you can see the hooks! LOL Thanks for all your hard work on the videos!
That's so cool you doing a giveaway with that international 544. I have run the same one for years on the family dairy farm to do just about everything.
I am the 'person who has no idea what he's talking about' assigned to your video. I have a vague idea that the front of the tractor has those weighty thingies on there, and the back end has that hitchey thing. The solution to your baler problem is that Brian did not powder the elves that ride in the baler and make the first wrap. Without their payment of powder, the elves go on strike and refuse to do their job. Cole tried to hook up the bucket to the wrong end. The back end with the hitchey thing is much easier to see from the cab. How that hitch is going to lift the bucket is not part of my job, because I quite obviously have no idea what I'm talking about! Bucky :-)
The solution for the Baler is simple. Just skip the first bale and always start with the 2nd bale. Problem solved. Have a beer. As far as the stinky boots.. first, just take off the boots and walk in your bare feet. The cavemen did it and they never smelled up their tractor cabs. If u don't want to do that, I find that spraying my boots with gasoline and lighting them before I get into the cab will get rid of the smell and keep my feet warm. A lot of these useful tips are in every issue of " Popular Alcoholics" magazine. You can buy it at most of the finest detox facilities. Now, the issue of why you cant seem to center the bucket on the loader when you attach it is a tough one. I mean, I've never met anybody that had trouble with that before. Maybe it's a depth perception thing. Did Brian accidentally shoot you in the head during the dart gun shootoff? It might not hurt to run a magnet over your skull and look for metal fragments. It can happen. I mean, we do that to neighbor Ned on a regular basis. Last week, we found 3 framing nails, a welding rod, and a throwing star stuck in there. His depth perception was so bad that, everytime he tried to wipe his nose, he would turn on the grain dryer. Anyway, let me know how that turns out. I promised the wife I'd take her to a nice dinner and I gotta find out when they put out the day old doughnuts at Dunkin. Have a good one!
Brian and Cole, thank you so much for all of the videos! I am recovering from a serious auto accident that was completely NOT my fault. The guy who tried to kill me was judged mentally insane and convicted. I found your channel from Eric in Pennsylvania who recommended you. Your videos are great. I think Brian is deserving of a short story about Cole growing into being a farmer/rancher at the end of every video! And do you consider yourselves to be ranchers or farmers? I would think ranchers as raising cattle is the main career and growing the crops is secondary. The main income is from cattle. Either way, you guys are great. And of course, let's not forget about the most important person there, Mother and Wife! Oh, and l think you can easily reach 100,000 subscribers. All you have to do is post a few videos which focus on the baby calves! You are completely forgetting about the females who would love to see the calves interaction with Ellie, or sniffing the camera which is always funny and just being cute. Thanks again!
just want to say that i love and appreciate the good music you select for your videos. I watched another farming video yesterday and it had some godaweful garbage playing even while the guy was yapping away then he cranked up the music up while he sped up the video - so annoying!! Your channel is awesome ! you have a gift, Cole! and ur Dad too!
Once again, a great video! Drone footage matched with the right music, mesmerizing (really!). Does the Tractor Giveaway include free shipping and handling? 😃
I’ve got a 460M I bought last year. Before I start for the day I take the wrap brake off and roll the rubber and metal rolls just a little and then reset the brake. It seems to help. I never had a problem last year with it but it did it the first two days I baled this year so I started doing that.
My JD 468 did that when I had the roll on backwards. It would wrap around the rubber roller and never start on the first roll or two. Probably already checked that though.
Watching y'alls videos make me miss living on a farm, if me and my husband could afford it, i would take our 4 boys and move to place with a lot of land and possibly start farming.
Hi Cole and family.Hope you all are doing good today.God bless you and your family today and always.

I got away from Deere wrap and never had any more problems. I use Swanson now on my 560m and love it.

Well, what's a video without Cole gagging in it? I thought we cured you of that!
Thanks for taking us along for the ride today, I enjoyed it!
Happy that 100k subs is in sight for you. Keep up the great work! Take care.

New tractors and implements are always great. For a year or two. Then the real maintenance starts. And the headaches begin.
Damn squirrel! New subscriber here, have a good one see u next time.

This is really funny. I think someone should try out some of these tips.

Hello cole, that was a fine healthy lunch that your dad brought you. Ye have a fine crop of hay.
After a long week of work 😴 i would love to make some hay
Once again, a great video! Drone footage matched with the right music, mesmerizing (really!).
Does the Tractor Giveaway include free shipping and handling? 😃
Thats a beautiful tractor! Been subbed for quite a while!
I’ve got a 460M I bought last year. Before I start for the day I take the wrap brake off and roll the rubber and metal rolls just a little and then reset the brake. It seems to help. I never had a problem last year with it but it did it the first two days I baled this year so I started doing that.
You compare the fly to a baby bird, so then are those hawks Pterodactyls? 😂Showing the good and the bad is more interesting and appreciated 😊
My JD 468 did that when I had the roll on backwards. It would wrap around the rubber roller and never start on the first roll or two. Probably already checked that though.
Beautiful clip😊
Watching y'alls videos make me miss living on a farm, if me and my husband could afford it, i would take our 4 boys and move to place with a lot of land and possibly start farming.
Just raked some hay today down here in West Tennessee
Good show..
