    Bought these on the back of this review video and you are spot and and they are epic for the price. Watching this video back with them and the extra clarity detail is very good. You need a softer pad as you can hear the iems clink when you drop them on it and also the ear tip baggy crinkle. Exceptional review sir

    Great review. I also prefer open backed cans for home listening but just got a pair of 7hzs yesterday as my first foray into IEMs. I like how they're tuned, they hold up pretty well across genres. I'm not sure there's much headroom left to finesse them with additional EQ but I guess that's kind of the point. It seems the cartilage in my ears don't get on with those flat edges without my needing to twist and turn them until I lose a little a bit of sealing. But for this price I'm pretty happy with them overall.

      I got these iems and they are my first so I don’t now how to fix this but when I got them they work GREAT on my phone but when I plug them into my controller for my Xbox the mic turns on and then the volume on the iems goes all the way up and I can’t change it so you know how to crave this?

    i am sharing something i noticed : at high volume it sounded very nice but a low/casual volume bass was anemic wich was a no go for me, i guess it is related to fletcher-munson curves that is very obvious on this iem ( much less noticeable on my other iems). at $20 if like me you preserve your ears by listening at low volume i recommend tangzu waner instead

    I see the TB Stealth 700 G2 max is at $140 in amazon right now, would like to know if this is the right choice for competitive fps games (I play valorant and warzone 2 on PC), but also for console (have a PS4). Would appreciate your input :)

      @doooouge1136 Год назад

      I was about to ask lol

    • @hello_2221
      @hello_2221 Год назад +3

      @@doooouge1136 Late reply, but I got these after getting the chus after one of the wires on one of two of my pairs of them broke. I think it had to do with the fact that I wore only one side for a while and left the other side dangling, eventually causing the wire on it to break. But, while I think it is technically my fault, this isn't something that will happen on the wire on these for sure due to it's detachable cable, not to mention that the cable itself is quite a leap ahead in quality. This aspect alone already makes it better than the Chu for me, even if the sound had been a little bit worse.
      Getting to the actual sound though, well known audiophile Crinacle's tuning on the 7hz zero (not to be confused with his other collab with truthear, also called zero, he made a whole video about the naming) is quite similar to the tuning of the Chus. So similar, in fact, that in my limited listening with the zeros, I couldn't really tell too much of a difference. Looking at the graphs on crin's website though, there is a little more bass, which I think is better for me (and for most people), so the zero is a bit of a step up. (Also a lot of reviewers are saying the zero is better than the chu in sound anyways, maybe take a listen to them for a more in-depth comparison.)
      As for comfort, the Chu is a lot smaller, making it fit easier, but the nozzle part doesn't fit in my earhole as good as the zero. Whereas the zero fits in my earhole better but the larger size and sharp edges make the outsides of my ear feel a little sore after a while. I think their strengths and weaknesses in comfort/ergonomics are even.
      So, between the chu and the zero, I would definitely take the zero. B u u u t, you should also consider the Tangzu Wan'er, a recent $20 iem that some reviewers are claiming to be even better than the zero. Or the QKZ x HBB, another $20 iem with much more bass in its sound signature compared to the sound signatures of the other three, trading the more analytical nature of the three for a more fun listening experience. Or, if you can step up to the price point of $35, consider the Kiwi Ears Cadenza, which reviewers say is a worthy upgrade to the iems of the $20 segment. Or, since the audio world is getting better and better with new releases, especially in this price bracket, maybe wait for new releases, such as the Moondrop Jiu, which is rumored to be an improved version of the Chu (still no detachable cable, though...).

      @@hello_2221 Holy shit- This is the best comment ever! I agree with everything you said about the Chu. I love them, but they always fall out of my ears when moving around too much.
      The Zero might just be my next pair of IEM to get (waiting until the new moondrop comes out to compare- which I didn't even know about till now)
      Thank you soooo much again :D

      @@t3floz I actually have the Zeros now! I prefer them over the Chu's. Better bass, less sharp in some cases, overall better balanced. I also prefer the design. Hooks are more secure because they're plastic and part of the wire, and they stay in my ears better. They don't fall out! I recommend the Zero's over the Chu's
