Bill Cosby won his appeal because the prosecutor had made a deal that if he sat for the deposition, nothing said in it would be used in a criminal trial; only for the new prosecutor to have the courts unseal and use that deposition to charge him.

However, I think this was a runaway train. Once that documentary came out no one could turn around and think 'what if they're lying?' I tell you what is crazy! How come England has no idea of your underaged marriage agreements in the past. How has this important information not been shared globally beforehand? Min sex age and marriage is 16 in the uk if your both under 18. If your over 18 and have sex/marry with someone under 18 your acting in an illegal manner and will be sent to jail for it. Fair enough. Im not a shockable person. I understand that some mothers are forced to breed children for this exact reason or worse. Now law enforcement (globally if you have a goverment established in your given country) are allowed to scan you if they have a "reasonable excuse" (no warrant needed) to search through everywhere you have every been to on the www. Im not sure if this applies to beat cops... There will be a structured chains of command.
Obviously this is done very quickly aka Scan. They also have the ability to sit outside your home and scan your personal network... if your not on a flashed router with a vpn installed ie ddwrt/tomato. They see what you have flying around your network. They can see cookie data/meta data... Its surprising they amount of information that is freely available if you know where to look on a person anyway. (OSINT).
