Have to be honest, as soon as i saw terrence, his conditioning blew everyone out of the park. You may have had a shot at 2nd but it was very close. Lower body and conditioning still need imporvement but you have a great structure and i know you're gonna get that first place one day
Regardless the placing, I think Wes deserved a place on stage and amongst the tops. Secondly Wes a great height advantage compared to the others, have to use that to an advantage, and stands out as a towering giant. However Ruff has a great great pose, he polished that really well. Even though he is the smallest of all, his proportions are well balanced. And proportions or at least the impressions of it is very important in classic physique
This is only a loss if you think the judges had a clue. You were the only one placing who wasn't fighting the steroid gut bloat best left in open. Those judges need their "classic" eyes checked and once again you don't get what you deserve because there is no consistency in judging what classic physique is. Keep fighting the good fight. Don't let them turn classic physique into "Mini-mass monsters".

Fabio is a good bodybuilder but I think he’s more suited for 212. He has a ton of quality muscle but lacks the aesthetics and posing that a classic physique requires.

Brother, he have 91 kg, 212 its equivalent as 96kg. He would have only 5kg to grow he would be "outmuscled" by tinny guys like Clarida that look like a mini Coleman. He wouldnt be a really top tier bb on 212, he can be a great open. But cmon, open is WAY more dificult than any other category and the guys need to use lot more drug, training much heavier and eat like animals. If he have the weight to do classic why he shouldnt? And why HE shouldnt win? The only rule is "do the weight" and he did.. Wesley was on great and have a great line, Fabio is more muscular, but both could win and no one would be mad. Buf Ruff really shouldv been third..

You can ofc argue for ruff being first but fabio in second(?) this is no hate what so ever but to me fabio does not nearly look as classic as you. moreover when I watched it I thought that he was having problems controlling his midsection. No real vaccum as well and no deep cuts in his quads.

Wes, you should have been first or second. The second place guy isn't Classic whatsoever. Too big in the upper body, no separation in the quads, blocky midsection with poor control in the transitions. He needs to go to Open. I think if you can continue to bring up the hamstrings, glutes, and low back, you'll be placing ahead of Terrence in the future. Your condition was great here. I also think changing a few poses to be more hip tilted a la Arnold would help display your physique, like the way Terrence hits his abs and thighs.

Wesley, I don’t know if you read these comments but you could have easily won this show. I noticed two things in particular. First in the front relaxed pose your shoulders seemed crunched forward. Shoulders back, chest out would look better. Second, when they call for the favorite classic pose, you can make a better choice. That twisting double bicep is not showing your best. You dominate in the front double bicep shot and the most muscular shot for you is amazing so if that can be your classic pose, smash it. I thought you won every comparison shots but the back double biceps. Great showing for you. I would have scored you first, ruff diesel second and Fabio third.
Yeah I gotta agree with ya…… I’ve never liked his classic pose!!…..that side Mantis pose looks incredible on him and he hardly ever uses it. Take the head off and he looks just like Arnold in it. Yeah, he could choose any pose and it would look better than the on he does. And yes, he also needs to hit that front relaxed better too. He would swallow the rest of the lineup if he would open up and extend his arms out
Agree about his front relaxed pose 100%, but the twisting fdb is a very good pose for Wesley. It really gives the illusion of tapering his waist. The problem is, it has to be hit and presented at the perfect angle to make the best impression.

I have to admit the Brazilian guy had a strong back, very big muscles, and well-defined lines. His legs were big as well, although not as sharp as yours Wesley. Overall, I think it's still a good enough place to be in the top 3, especially considering you already got the Olympia confirmation, so this wasn't so much of a necessary 1st place.
A true champion. Wes assessed his condition and the competition, called out their strengths and the reasons why they likely won. He didn’t make excuses. It’s evident that he’ll take this information and apply it to his plan to ensure he gets better for the O. It just compounds the fact that Wesley is intelligent, driven, humble AND strategic.

I'm not a judge but I would like to help Wesley, I like his physic but from my opinion some weakness which could be improved : ---Some weakness : Genetics ones : - tall guy (less compact, hard to fill) - high lats (10:17) - width tight (a trick is to pose, the most as you can, by twisting your upper body as Arnold as the 1st 19:27) Other ones : - glutes (10:17, 13:45) - Soleus or achilles tendon seems to big (gastrocnemius does not pop up) China you be in the top 3.

In my opinion you we're the most classic on stage, as well as most dry. I think ruff diesel was looking very small despite the weight increase allowed. You can only do your best & it's then down to the judges. Onwards to the olympiad keep up the great videos, stay golden 😊

You won it on the front pose, but the back was lacking as you need more depth and improved muscle structure below the lats. Your legs and vacuumed have really improved, just remember Mike Mentzner never won an Olympia.
Fabio and Terrence were a little sharper from the back with those shredded glutes. My opinion - I think you should ditch the front double bicep favorite classic pose. There are no details in your quads in this pose and really it makes your legs look smaller than they are. You should hit the bumstead pose where its one hand on hip and the other bicep flexed. This way we can see your teardrop quads, serratus, and huge bicep. Then you can transition into your arnold back double bicep pose which is killer.
It’s not your fault. As long as Terrance makes weight they’re going to give him the victory. He can come in without an Arm and if there’s no urs, Dino or CBum in the lineup he’s still gonna get the win. It’s not your fault

His back double biceps is the pose that needs most work, because his glutes and hams don't keep up with his back and arms.

I have to admit the Brazilian guy had a strong back, very big muscles, and well-defined lines. His legs were big as well, although not as sharp as yours Wesley. Overall, I think it's still a good enough place to be in the top 3, especially considering you already got the Olympia confirmation, so this wasn't so much of a necessary 1st place.

A true champion. Wes assessed his condition and the competition, called out their strengths and the reasons why they likely won. He didn’t make excuses. It’s evident that he’ll take this information and apply it to his plan to ensure he gets better for the O. It just compounds the fact that Wesley is intelligent, driven, humble AND strategic.

I'm not a judge but I would like to help Wesley, I like his physic but from my opinion some weakness which could be improved :
---Some weakness :
Genetics ones :
- tall guy (less compact, hard to fill)
- high lats (10:17)
- width tight (a trick is to pose, the most as you can, by twisting your upper body as Arnold as the 1st 19:27)
Other ones :
- glutes (10:17, 13:45)
- Soleus or achilles tendon seems to big (gastrocnemius does not pop up)

I did not like the shape of the second place. He was super conditioned but I fell like he should have placed 4th in my opinion.

In my opinion you we're the most classic on stage, as well as most dry. I think ruff diesel was looking very small despite the weight increase allowed. You can only do your best & it's then down to the judges. Onwards to the olympiad keep up the great videos, stay golden 😊

You need to adjust your back double biceps, your adductors are too open, you need to lean on each other more. Here in Brazil many peaple think the same.

You won it on the front pose, but the back was lacking as you need more depth and improved muscle structure below the lats. Your legs and vacuumed have really improved, just remember Mike Mentzner never won an Olympia.

Fabio and Terrence were a little sharper from the back with those shredded glutes. My opinion - I think you should ditch the front double bicep favorite classic pose. There are no details in your quads in this pose and really it makes your legs look smaller than they are. You should hit the bumstead pose where its one hand on hip and the other bicep flexed. This way we can see your teardrop quads, serratus, and huge bicep. Then you can transition into your arnold back double bicep pose which is killer.
