I was already disheartened by the release of champions as a f2p player, but lvl 15 and evolutions will probably be the final straw and I'll stop playing after 7+ years. It's a damn shame, I used to love this game.

Evolutions are hard to get, not fun, and the same goes for lvl 15.
Yeah and RIP to new players who run into Champions and Evolved cards in Arena 7, genuinely just no way to help them.
I wish evolution users couldn’t match against those without them😅

That's just how clash royale is. I'm an underleveled player and all this time I wish to match only against players the same level as me. At least now you high level players know what us underleveled players suffer on a daily basis XD

Hey boss, I know the boom arena videos were just for the memes and all but I'm interested to see your thoughts on how different the meta is there than in cr (because of some different balancing and missing cards), if a competitive scene would ever develop there
I really miss old CR. Now a deck isnt really viable unless it has a champion and a evolution and I really dont like either. I just wanna play my classic log bait man xD these evolutions are just crazy

replace your mini tank with skeleton king and when they log your goblin barrel or skarmy youre king will be feed and can do a second skarmy for 2 elixer.

I have to disagree, with the champions take. You dont really need a champion for you to have a viable deck. Archer queen for example is just a more expensive musketeer with more health and basically does the same job but better while being more expensive. Golden knight is easily countered by any mini tank and so on. I have never felt like the champions break the game as much as evolution is doing, because you need to spend elixir for the abilities, even if you dont, the stats for the cards is mostly in line of your other cards based on the cost. Evolutions on other hand, what makes them break the game is the fact that you do not spend more elixir for benefits, you instead spend the same amount of elixir for even more ridiculus things. In my opinion to balance evolutions they seriously need to increase the elixir cost of every evolution by one, so you actually have to think, if you want the card evolved or not.

rage spell is really good now that it actually does damage! I use it over the log now I find I can get more value than log using 2 elixer rages and if you need it can still be used like a normal spell
I honestly feel like the skeleton Evolution should have been the invisible skeletons Only dying to spells. The evolved skeletons are hard to use
But it's so satisfying If you could make them work

Literally I’ve as playing a game yesterday and all of a sudden this guy plays this card and I’m like “oh ya I forgot about that being in the game”, I tried to stop it (a normal royal giant probaly would’ve gotten at max 2 hits), point is I ended up closing closing app this card took my whole tower at close to max health and well defended, what a joke

70% of my matches are hogrider firecracker cycle decks, i think i'm gonna quit 1v1 for some time untill they start to care and actually balance the game
this meta is rg cycle, hog cycle and decks that counter rg and hog if you use anything else you just lose

Evolutions shouldn’t have an hp increase, should just be the new mechanic it comes with only. Also why are evolutions coming to already good cards?

But it's ok, must of the time I could handle with other evolved cards. But I regret I haven't made the firecracker get evolved and so Lava and Graveyard make my gaming suck. 😬

using a normal deck, theres simply no way to stop evolutions. I use my normal Lavaloon deck that does well agaisnt most decks but the guy dropped evovled barbs at the bridge and i lost like what

Royal Giant will either be nerfed to the ground, or they will make another evolution which could counter Evolved Royal Giant. Possibly both.

Want to hear something crazy? So the season just ended, and i am an very average f2p player that is one game off of reaching my very first Ultimate champion. Guess what the game did to me. They literally make some changes right before the season just left 4 freaking mins!!!! I knew that was my last game and i must win. But right i enter the game i shocked, the game is at Royal Champion 11th step, i matched a player which having an evolved Mortar???????? That card just crash my hopes and dreams into the ground and i lost just exactly the season countdown's ends. 1 step away from ultimate champion, i manage to lose not from over level or lag, but with a freaking sudden of evolved mortar and the last minute of the game. im really upset.
