    The great thing about these demos is it not only shows what a true genius Pete is for being able to hear this in his head and actually get it out to tape, it also shows how the rest of the band add their own punch to really put a finish on it.

    One of my favorite Who-songs actually.. Pure genious mr Townshend.
    LIstening feels like being 14 again, discovering The Who, when everyone was into Aqua or the Fugees or something..

      glenn stclair - Think he means like editing software, so that Pete HAD to do everything on tape. Yeah this is a no brainer considering the date of the recording but it’s still interesting nevertheless.

      Only person I know of who played for all three. Billy Preston played for Beatles and Stones

    Thanks DarthMurray. Is this from the Lifehouse collection? Any more from Who By Numbers? I am so greedy but I love Townshend's rendition of Who songs better than the Who songs themselves.

    Sorry, I only know the existance of these demos. There are testimonies of a Blue, Red and Grey demo, but i supose its lost, or it has a pretty bad quality.
