Thank you!!!😘I was stuck at 31:30 for 3 days. The mouse kept jumping up and down pointing and I thought he wanted me to keep fighting that crab/ beetle thing. I was literally having a mini nervous breakdown 😂.

Here's how bad I am. I'm stuck at the water wheel right at the beginning of the game.
The water wheel is difficult to figure out in VR because it is hard to see. You really do have to stand up and walk around just to make sure you don't fall off those ledges. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and let me know if you need more help! :D

Just got this game a few days ago and I spent most of it trying to open that damn box. Never occurred to me to simply hop over it. I'm in VR and it's ALL new to me.

The music during the snake sequence really gets my heart rate going! Scared me as well! :D

@@hunterlolasarous - such an addictive game. Also loving Lucky’s Tale and the daughter’s fave is Gorilla Tag. I got through to the end, no cheats, no video help - but wanted to see if I was missing something with the serpent/dragon, I’m not - just too slow.

I love your walkthrough. For some chapters, I check what I’ve done because sometimes I get through it and I feel like “Did I miss something?” Once in awhile, I get stuck and your help is appreciated. Those fire shooting crabs in the temple, I kept thinking I needed to do something different as they kept coming. I just have to annihilate them I guess! I like your commentary, as well.

It’s the hardest part of the game! If you can use your sword in the center that will do the most damage quickly just run out of there during attacks and don’t fall off!!! Thank you for the support!! :D

Absolutely agreed! I think the PSVR was a little easier with the controller so you’re getting more of a challenge on the quest :)

@@hunterlolasarous I also tried Astro Bot, but since I’m in a wheelchair it’s not that easy for me to turn behind me to look in 360°. I just wanted to do a test run of my sisters vr headset to see what it’s like before I invest in a very headset for my pc because I play American Truck Simulator & Microsoft Flight Simulator, which are both vr compatible.

Hey! The room is one of my all time favorites and I have a walkthrough for that as well! Statik is another game I enjoy in terms of puzzles, but the story is bland. I have been playing Escape Academy recently and I like that despite not being in VR. Thanks for dropping a comment!!!

I'm about in the middle of moss, the room where the little weird things blow up to a balloon, my first encounter last night, the fighting so was intense so put it down for the night then watched how you drag them around, I would never have got that! Thanks for the tips, I'm new to VR so looking for more VR games for oculus.
@@lilithchristoffersen9271 Yes, dragging them away is the secret! They don't inflate until you let them go. :D Oculus is amazing! I would recommend Moss 2, RE4, Walkabout Minigolf, and Beat Saber.

With your help I completed all tree trials and when Quill meet the frog I went the wrong way and I can't get back. to the area where the frog was to take the right path. Must I go thru parts of the game again? I am 73 years old and its my first time playing a video game and I have throughly enjoyed playing "with your help. I hope I hear from you to finish the game. You are so awesome to be playing at that age especially with VR! So, from my understanding you cannot go back. You would have to restart the game in order to activate all three doors unfortunately. :( I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear. That last door is by far the most difficult in the game. Let me know if you have any other questions! Hope I helped! :D
I'm 71 yrs old and greatly enjoying this game. I've recently finished Red Matter 2 and think this is harder to finished.

Hey thank you so much for doing this. It’s my first time ever playing and you were the Godsend! At 1:44:07 (when you said she does animation) I missed the wagon and fell to to the ground. Any suggestions on how to continue the game without going back into hell? Hahaha
I found the easiest way to kill the crab boss was to just stay on the centre platform with him and attack, kite and heal. Results may vary based on platform.
Thanks for the help; it’s been invaluable, since this is my first video game. I’m stuck now at 50:20, because when Quill steps on the button, a chain piece just drops; there’s no fire like in your video, which makes me wonder what I could possibly do. Hm. Anyway, thanks, again.
Thank you so much for this great help!! I can't seem to get Quill to make the jump over the broken walk way..she falls to the ground every time. what is the secret to a successful jump? Thank you in advance!
Honestly, some of her jumps are tricky and really make you spend a long time if mess ups happen. A running jump is always better and waiting until the last second on the platform honestly. In VR I found walking yourself right behind Quill helps because then you are jumping straight forward only. Hope that helps!

Awwwww Thank you for asking! Yes. I can't guarantee how soo that will be. I just did Red Matter 2 and bought a PSVR 2 so hopefully soon!
Don’t know if you’re still replying to comments - do you know how to restart the game from the beginning? I want to play through again to get ready for Book 2 and can’t manage to reset the game play. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Dianne
I've come across loads of reviews that say they can't go back to the beginning and play again... Did you ever find a solution?
Thank you for making the video. I've killed the big snake, but found that I have completed roughly 60% of the game. By the way, compare this game with another VR game "Astro Bot Rescue Mission", I love Astro Bot more. The reason I compare is both games are similar - Quill and Astro are so lovely and start their adventure. Neither game is violent graphic.
Astros bot is one of my all time favorites and yes, I too put that game higher than this one. They are similar, but different in good ways! :) Thank you so much for sharing! My guess is that the 60% is because of the collectibles or hidden doors?
Totally stuck at about 41:15 with the canon shooting bugs. I've watched several videos, and it looks so easy, but once I get in there, there are four of them shooting canons at me all at the same time and immediately respawning after I kill them, so I can't get anywhere. Does anybody know a trick that I'm missing there? How do you time it without getting shot off the columns and destroyed by them all ganging up on you? I've played through that part about 100 times, and I'm close to giving up.
Hey! My suggestion is to do it exactly how I did in the video. If you go for the higher elevated ones first they can’t knock you off. Stay in the center of the pillars. Hope that helps!
I think I will stop at 1:34 I can’t shoot and recharge when crab is raining me down with bombs
Add 1:44 after you come out of the last green door I did not stay on the top level and now I can’t get back up. How do I get up on the wooden crate to get to the top level. Help please. Your videos are great and so much help. But I missed this step. If I choose to go to last checkpoint will it take me back to battling that big crab again? It took me forever to beat him.
If I remember correct. And only because I just play the game again because it’s so awesome! Move the box to the far left. Lower the train arm. Get on the box move it to the arm. Move the block on your left and hop to it. Then hop on top of the box. Use the crab to bring you to the green door by hitting the control. Let me know if that works?!
@@hunterlolasarous yes I have tried that. I’ll keep trying. When I jump from the block back to the wood crate I always end up on the bottom. If I chose go to last checkpoint do you know what that will do? If it puts me back
in the swamp I’d be ok with that. Then I could come back though the green door and stay on the top level. You are so awesome. I love this game for sure,

This just happened to me today. What was the outcome? What did you have to do?
I must have missed the other "Marker" to raise the statue at 1:45. I hope I don't have to go back too much..
I'm stuck at the spiral staircase at just before the 46 min mark. The bug on the left gets to a point where it won't shoot anymore so I can't get the platform to raise. Help!
I reviewed that part of the video and my suggestion aside from doing exactly what i did is to make sure the bug is in a good spot before heading to the back wall so you can control his fire arm. Hope that helps!
How many times do you have to shoot the big crab when he is on the platform? I probably shot him 30 times he shows no weakness or damage just keeps going
That boss is so annoyingly difficult! It is close to 30 hits I’d say. You know the crab is getting weaker based on his attack change. Use that to your advantage and knife him when he gets on the center. Only heal yourself on the far right or left platforms in between his bombs. Hope that helps!
How do you get the crab to shoot a fireball so that the cage will move and Quill will jump on top. I have tried and cannot figure it out. Please help me. Thanks
Not sure if he's still replying.. But I'm using quest 2 with the touch controls so I can only tell you as far athat is concerned.. Anyhow.. Highlight the crab that shoots the fireballs then push the stick forward or up, depending how you look at it. You don't have to push any buttons or thlevers on the front of the control.. "glow" or highlight the crab & push your stick forward or up.

Hey! Yes, step on the target AND THEN pull the chain underneath of you with controller to activate battle! Hope that helps! :)
At 6 minutes how do you make quill jump down onto the block thing I’m stuck there
The circle button allows Quil to let go of the wall :) hope that helps.

Thank you soo much for this walk through. I see you are still replying so here it goes. I am at 1:03:23 & I can figure out how to activate the sword but not how to shoot it. Ive done it a couple of times by accident. But I hit all the buttons and it just deactivates the sword.

Oh yeah absolutely! Hold down square to attack. Charge the sword with your orb and then hit the square/attack button once more facing the direction you want to fire. Let me know if that helps! :-)
@@hunterlolasarous Sorry but this is on Oculus Quest 2 & it doesn't have a square attack button. I charge the sword but every time I try another button the sword loses its charge.

I went all the way to the frog but instead of open the left gate or cave the frog opened the gate that goes back to a level that I already done.
I reset the game and started all over but happened again. When I got to the frog for the second time it happened again. It opened the right gate but I'm your video the frog opened the right gate.

Hey yeah! What I have found is that if you miss one gate along the normal storyline then you won't be able to open the third gate. you have to complete them as you go through because there is no opportunity to go back. Honestly if you are not skipping a gate then I don't know what the problem is. My guess is that you are opening gate 1...skipping 2 and opening gate 3? The gates with the toad only open in a specific order. I hope that helps. I am not sure how to help, but this is what I found.
Thanks you. The way you described I have to reinstall the game and start over. I already did once and I paid attention on the whole game not to miss anything but I can do again I guess. I will do that and pay attention in all the gates.

I get to second puzzle and the mouse won’t let go of the wall. Suggestions?
Pretty sure the circle button cancels the climb option, but I could be wrong. If your still having issues this could be something technically wrong so maybe check your settings?
nerver thought to just click and stop the wheel must have spent hours trying to get her to jump on and off with it moving. I will stop the video here and see where I get stuck next.

How do you open the first gate
Did you stand near the green fog in the castle? It’s on the left side by a wooden door I believe.

Use your controller and flip the pages using R2 I believe. If that doesn’t work you might have a problem with the game or controller itself
Im stuck at the first part where the spiders shoot fireballs. I can stop one and then the other kills me
Try holding one with your orb and dodging the other :)

@@marcotavares319 All you have to do is stand in the green mist for about 10 seconds. It does take a while.
Do I have to do the whole game over if I dropped one of the sprite statues into the abyss. They open the large center door when they are both in place?

That one can be a bit tricky. Try slowing down a bit to increase your accuracy perhaps? That last hidden gate is extremely tough with this and even I mess up a lot!

@@amaliabudean5766 Use the controller orb and flip the pages holding down R2 for PlayStation. If that doesn’t work I would recommend trying a different controller. If that doesn’t work I would say there might be an issue with the game or the PlayStation in General
