ASU were anticipating our outside running game and they all rallied to the ball each time we ran outside zone. If we could have had a counter for that, it would have destroyed them. Sark was stubborn and forced to run without countering his tendencies as a play caller. It was frustrating.
I tried to like this 6,362,986 times but it kept un checking the thumbs up. Quinn saved the game, Sark 100000000% was the reason the offense was rarely on the field. Because of that the defense got wore out. Skat wouldn't have had 100 yards if Sark had a better gameplan. Skat broke through the wall eventually.
Their anticipation was due in large part by having three and a half weeks to prep and using info from ex Longhorn players. No one has been that zeroed in.
Now read out Quinn's stats from the 3rd offensive play of the game until the 5 min mark of the 4th quarter. It's not asking for perfection to have a QB and offense not be piss poor for 3 1/2 quarters. Quinn stepped up from the 5 min mark left in regulation through the end of the OTs. The only reason he had to step up and be in that position is because he sucked ass for 80 percent of the game. The mulligans of playing inferior playoff opponents in Clemson and ASU is over. Quinn better find a way to get consistently good for 4 quarters by next Friday or it'll take the biggest super human defensive performance of the season with a lot of luck to even have a chance to win late. These aren't ASU jag receivers, OL, TEs, etc. coming to Cowboys Stadium.
I don't think Downs has improved that much. Maybe it is because there are other great players around him. Quinn made him look in the Alabama game his freshman yr
Sark is not as great as everyone says…he needs an OC so he can manage the game better. He is so predictable. He is going to throw a pass on 1st down against Ohio State. You think they don’t know that. We need a bigger back out RB’s are our biggest liability this year. I love Wisner but he is t big enough to make the difference against OSU.
I think he’s great but has too much on his plate and is stubborn about doing the thing he loves as a reward for the tedious work of being team CEO. He desperately needs a fully empowered OC who shares his offensive philosophy but can have complete focus on the OC part of the job.
Skatabo will not be the running back in the NFL likr he was in college. He tore up a down big 12 without OU and Texas...And one big game where he was shutdown for a half and eventually ran on a tired defense is not changing anyone's mind in the NFL. Watch he will go 5th or 6th round look decent at times but will not be a #1 RB. And I bet he gets CT scanned at combine and Dr.'s tell teams to stay away because of concussion damage on the brain. He has a tendency for concussions this shaking the head and puking ain't normal.
Skatabo has the legs of Dorf. And a heart of gladiator. Animal!
Ian should be on Texas coaching staff.
Happy New Year! Texas plays up and down to the competition. I think they'll be up for 0SU.
If Quinn has to throw the ball 40 to 50 times we’re in trouble
That would be true for any team any qb
@ yep…Ian says that’s the only way he see Texas winning…yikes
Will Arch play a role in the next game?

Texas scored too fast, so our defense was on the field way too long. Skatabo wouldn’t have dominated second half if defense wasn’t worn down
Isn’t it illegal for a lineman to pull the running back over the goal line like the 4th and goal score.
It's illegal for sure but in all my years, I've never seen it called. I think pushing should be illegal.
Correction on the initial Quinn stat line read by LC: Quinn had 4 total tds. 3 passing tds 1 rushing TD and a 2pt conversion completed
Good Catch. Thank you.
Dang, Ian basically gives us ZERO shot. We have the players to duplicate what Michigan did.

Flood and Sark got the OLinemen they wanted 3 years ago. Why can’t we run the ball? CB and Jonathan B are gone. Change the run scheme!🤘🏼
Fair point!

I don't thinkwe can handle the OSU they are all really tall stocky looking we dont match up.

WR Cook would have been a pretty good replacement for Bond. Its a shame it didnt work out.
Yall, just let ian cook! Stop cutting him off i beg you
😂😂😂
We've tried this. There's not enough bandwidth to handle the pauses. Im just afraid you'll have to sample your Ian in digestible chunks.
