The blueness of the lake is breathtaking as are the others in the area, Ohau and Tekapo. One thing a bit puzzling, don’t most of the runways have their numbers like 15/33 or was some maintenance being carried out. Lindis Pass in winter, so beautiful. I will look it out again on my old 1962 film. Thanks for sharing and I love the camera work.
@@kynanyu6183 I suppose it was the experience of first flying into Norwich (UK) and I called finals on 09 until ATC had a laugh and said I was on 04. Another student pilot on his QXC said that the Tower wanted to sign his certificate that he had lined up on the wrong runway! Of course I put ATC right and complained about the lack of maintenance of their numbers! I never made that mistake again. Mind you, Milford airstrip did not have numbers in 1962. Cheers and thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching! It’s the insta Go3s but it didn’t get much usable footage off it as I have just work out while watching it back my head is a bit like a swivel when i’m flying 😂
Ain't life a btch !!! Have you tryd our Motueka airport Cafe ? "Hangaround" budgy smugglers pilots and wanderful friendly folks , byo planes are optional !!!😉🙃😎ps i love your plane
Winter flying in the mountains. Low air temp. Low humidity. High QNH. Perfect flying conditions!
was a mint afternoon for flying! performance was high 👌
You had a great flight thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
Fabulous views. Tramped a few of those valleys, hard yaka.
That would be hard going !
The snow was beautiful around tekapo yesterday ,
Looks stunning after a big dump of snow!
You can’t beat a bluebird S.I. winters day. Simply stunning.
You sure can’t! crisp air, fresh snow, soooo good

Thanks Robin, not sure why Glentanner doesn’t have the Runway numbers painted on?

Thanks Bryan!
Top day out, good to see the dreaded winter fog has cleared, the Lindis was stunning with snow on the tops
We had planned to get a way about 10am but the fog didn’t clear until well after 12, was a stunning day once it cleared!
Cheers
What a mint day out... even better with WX to match
sure was! brilliant flying weather
Fabulous flight! Any chance of a video showing and explaining the pilot controls of the cub, Kynan? I'd love to see the engine as well!
Yeah would love a vid on the specs of savage cub and the 206.
Yep I am sure I can do that soon! Cheers
Will do in the near future! Cheers
Great Video Kynan. I don’t understand how your cameras look like they magically fly beside and in front of the plane . clever stuff.
Thanks! the 360 degree cameras are awesome, it’s mounted on a pole out from the wing strut.
Stunning footage as usual Kynan. Thanks for sharing. What is the camera on you helmet visor?
