- Update on the dead screen issue. The screen now cuts on but the touch functionality is still not working. I am having to control everything from the steering wheel controls.

A new update you think is possible or you don't have a possibility to press the instal update ?
Last night, while I was waiting for my son to get out of his class, I was able to get it working again. I had to pull the unit out of the dash and unplug everything for about a minute. Once I did that and plugged it back up it came back up just fine, touch and all. Was a very strange issue but so glad I got it working again. Now I can finish shooting some videos on it before I swap to the Dasaita unit.
@@KameleonKustoms Good for you mane a have same issue but at my unit is not works like 1.5 cm from the right part from the corner up until down so I knot kill apps or close them from background or volume or the keyboard to delete or press enter , also to get bigger screen on video or any other content I take it out I put the old system I think I will put it back in a few days maybe it was just like yours a bug a issue
I updated to but maybe did that before the update it was 100 Fahrenheit I forgot put the sun protector on my window and I got this issues and I take it out make it parts ,clean it up plug everything back and I will try it soon ,have you have the kitkat 4.4 or Nugget 7.0 from where you think I may get the original update version because the seller don't want to help me
@@madalinfirica2356 Mine is the Android 7.0 version. What year truck and what version radio do you have?
Please, my friend, how did you get back?
I have a black screen.
In the end it did it again and never came back. It is a faulty connector somewhere. I ended up upgrading to a better unit in the end.
Was this caused by the ":custom firmware". This makes me wonder why I spend 1000$ on this HU.
It is a semi-common problem with some of these units. Typically a 5-ish minute power down and it is fine. Not caused by the custom firmware.
@@KameleonKustoms thanks very much for the reply Donny
This just happened to my radio. We’re you able to get it fixed?
This was a while back but if I remember correctly I unplugged it completely overnight and it worked the next day.
@@KameleonKustoms what do you mean by unplugged it overnight? You had to pull the unit and unplug it again?
@@NFLHITMAN yes
@@KameleonKustoms What part did you unplug?
@@NFLHITMAN I took the safe route and unplugged everything. You should be ok with just the power and ac controls plug though.
