  • Kundalini Awakening Symptoms with Nondual teacher and Mindfulness based therapist Craig Holliday. www.craighollid... In this video, Craig responds to student questions: about Nondual Kundalini Awakening and the gateway to the direct experience of God. For the past 10 years Craig has offered support to thousands of individuals who have experienced some level of kundalini awakening. With compassion and grace he guides individuals through the processes of healing and integration, so that these energies can move through us in a smooth and stable manner. It is through this process of healing and integration, that we discover the true purpose of this awakening within us. Instead of asking what can this energy do for us, we are invited to ask, how may I serve this movement of Grace in the world. From this space of humility, we open into a non separate relationship with the Divine.
    Beyond speaking about kundalini, Craig offers instructions on Yoga, nondual meditation, and for opening and healing the heart, through surrendering oneself to a movement of Divine Intelligence. Craig's teachers have included Adyashanti, A. H. Almaas, Gangaji, Caroline Myss, Lama Tsultrim, and Eckhart Tolle; his major influences include Christ, Sri Aurobindo and the Buddha.
    Craig offers Skype sessions, retreats and workshops and meets with individuals from around the world who have a sincere desire to awaken out of our painful egoic existence and into this Beauty that we always already are. Craig began teaching after a series of profound awakenings with his teacher Adyashanti, for more info: www.craighollid...

    It is nice to have a community that understands this. It really is something you can’t explain to someone who hasn’t experienced it. You are so right about unless you surrender it will scare you. But just remember you are being made a new person, so you can embody the vibrations and frequency’s of your ascension. Trying to stop it would be like stopping labor pains. You can’t. Just like labor is hard but we get through it, and afterwords we realize how beautiful it is. So is this.

    Its the most humbling experience. When it first happened fully it made me walk sideways people thought I was drunk because the energy makes you feel dizzy and the world tilts. And honestly I've been feeling almost bipolar and its making me face my shadow more. I'm standing up for myself more but it makes me feel depressed. It feels like war. A war inside me and around me. And now and then I will feel joy and peace knowing I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. It feels like it could create and destroy whole worlds with this energy.

      You too? My whole head twisted around... actually fit the definition of a movement disorder. Which did start after a car accident but ended in conjunction with the awakening. It’s like my wreck pushed so much energy through my spine it caused a glitched awakening sequence that I wasn’t ready for. All the painful movement disorder feelings are turning into divine light. Life’s freaking weird I actually never believed in any of this stuff 😅

    I prayed to God that I would never betray the infinite love I felt for my ex-girlfriend, tears came down from my eyes, as it was in the half light no one noticed, at the same moment I felt something explode in a violent force on the genitals as a volcano and rose to my heart and I felt a burst of light opening in my chest, when I left the nightclub I felt something strange and special screaming inside of me that I had won, I got my car and went home to sleep with the feeling that something extraordinary had occurred, coming home,
    as I lay down in bed as I prayed, I felt an energy being sucked from the base of the spine in a force and pressure from another world, a heat as if it were burning my genitals and as I prayed I felt something rising up the column with a deafening noise, something wonderful and frightening, but I surrendered myself to God at that moment, and I felt the energy arrive at the base of the nape of the neck and I felt an incredible lightness in the body, I fell asleep immediately, the next day I woke up with an infinite joy, it seemed that everything was good, joy that seemed to explode at any moment and an infinite love for the people, I walked and it seemed that I had no body weight, I felt like an inflatable balloon to take flight, that same day I went with my brother to get my father in his work I already was 25 years old, on the back we were listening to a gentle instrumental music in the car, when suddenly I looked out the window to some horses loose on the ground near the road, I feel a love infinite by them and suddenly I was the horses and they were me, and I saw that I was everything at that moment, that was a Monday, I continued to feel a love radiating from my chest spontaneously for everyone and everything, when I went to take bath, I took a cold bath, the instant the water fell on me, I felt the chakras the water falling on them, I could feel all the chakras, I had no thoughts and a sense of unity,

Just stand like horse stance with thigh muscles sore and legs shaking 7 to 9 beats per second and that brings your energy down to the small intestines where it is safely stored as the "2nd brain" - that gets rid of any kundalini symptoms.

    Hi Craig, thank you immensely for your teachings they are helping me a lot. I have awakened this energy within by having a dark night of the soul moment. Having been curled up in a foetal position asking god "what is the meaning of my existence on this planet, why so much pain?. My ego shattered and I started seeing where all my wrong doings were and how i could correct them to avoid further pain. I discovered meditation. After asking the creator that I was over my old self, meditating, being the watcher of my thoughts and emotions, meditating some more and over and over I suddenly felt this tingling sensation at the base of my spine. It has since become more intense and i feel the energy raising up my spine especially at night time while i "try" to sleep. I have totally surrendered to it, "Not my will but thy will be done onto me" as scripture says. I have since learned to just surrender and let go to this energy. I can't thank you enough for your videos which are helping me through this lonely ride. Many blessings from Down Under.

Particularly because it is so hard to find any reliable sources about this. Thanks a lot!

    Kundalini energy is a very specific evolutionary energy which has its root at the base of the spine.
    Grace are energies which descend into the aspirant from above. Grace is often experienced as the Divine coming into your form.
    Energetic Awakenings are when an aspect of your True Nature becomes aware of Itself.
    Prana is simply the energy of aliveness within oneself.
    Chakra centers are energy centers along the spine there are 7 main centers, but hundreds of smaller centers within oneself.
    Craig works very specifically with each of these specific energies and considers them all quite, unique and each has its own purpose and Intelligence. Although most individuals simply refer to all energy as kundalini or grace, yet this generic understanding does not do justice to the wide array of Divine energies and realms available to oneself. For decades Craig apprenticed with a master teacher learning and integrating these energies and has since worked with thousands of students who experience subtle to dramatic energetic awakening. One of his gifts is his individual work in these realms.
    Please read, the basic instructions for working with Kundalini energy section first. If you are experiencing a spontaneous energetic awakening it is best to have a teacher who can help guide you through these very specific realms. While Craig does respond to many emails he receives, he is not able to answer all the questions and give them the time and attention each question deserves. If you feel drawn to working with Craig as a teacher set up a Skype session and discuss this with him. craigholliday.com

    So happy to hear this - thank you Brett Linehan for bringing Connor Lepp to light. This is my experience for about 5 + years. Everything got way exasperated when I started working with Yogananda's Kriya Yoga. So many beautiful, blissful experiences with horrifying body burning and vibrating, immense anxiety, not sleeping, panic and dread attacks and tons of nervous sytem stuff - even though I'd spent YEARS sitting into fear to free it, releasing, and all this other stuff. THANK GOD i finally understand what I've been seeing and realizing but didn't have anything to go by. I'd started bringing the energy down through the body from head to feet and that helped for a while but then all hell broke loose. I'm gentle with myself and do almost no thing. Have come to a place where I am accepting this body and being as it is. Not easy but, this is a purification experience and at least I have discovered that I can hang in there longer. We need the body to be here as long as possible to clear out the VASANAS (the subconscious and often karmic junk that is trying to leave). From head to feet - the constant burning, purifying... I do my best to see it as healing energy - but it's NOT EASY. I hope one day, I burn through this and will serve humanity in a deeper service than I've been able to. There's nothing I can do to stop it, just going with it as best I can. I might have to contact you at some point when it gets so bad there's less of will to go another moment longer in life.

As for me, I got the attunements prior to the symptoms of Kundalini and had worked with them for some time already, cleaning and opening chakras (this takes quite some time and still have lots of work to do). But the point is that Kundalini symptoms seem to be quite bearable. 3. Cleansing ceremonies, like Ayahuasca ceremony, may help to work through some emotional traumas and give a glimpse of Unimaginable, so that whatever happens further on your path is a bit more easily acceptable to your psyche. 4. And, of course - do not resist. It's like with psychedelics, the more you resist, the worse it goes, but once you accept whatever is happening to you, relax and observe - THEN you get huge benefits from the process and it's much more pleasant, of course.

    Briefly I had a drug reaction about 7 years ago which awoke Kundalini in the way you describe though I didn't recognise it at the time I had loads of neurological tests there's nothing wrong except a congenital defect at the base of the spine. I suffered for a long time, sleep deprivation etc I was stripped of practically all relationships and I have got myself to a much more stable place. When the last person left late last year I was quickly introduced to texts by someone else on the chakras. I had an intuition to meditate on the chakras and the energy began to flow much more smoothly. It has taken me till this point to recognise what has happened. At about the same time I also went to person-centered groups where I spontaneously recognised the truth of suffering and I met somebody else in that group who then introduced me to awakened teachers. None of which was an accident, I recognise the energy field of somebody who is awake and I thank you for your teaching in which I recognise truth. I am looking forward to the retreat.

    Wow that was beautifully explained! I have felt like a victim to it for long periods because its been so intense and long - 9 years - but wouldn't want it taken away either until the work is done. The thought that it may not have happened is the scareist thought of all, but i've wanted to go home continously too as its just so overwhelming and rips your life to shreds. Siuch a strange paradox and dilemma. "It shows you who's boss and forces you into humilty and surrender". Wonderfuily put. Spot on. Namaste.

    I think I had mine accidentally last year. I had this lower back pain for awhile. One day I was sitting on the couch folding clothes, and I felt weird.....I started freaking out and I got up to walk to my bed to lay down. As soon as I got up, I lose control of my body and I felt this huge surge of energy, my body was just shaking intensely and my hands were stuck in a this weird position and I remember thinking to myself “get up, get up” but I couldn’t gain control of my body anymore and then all of a sudden, it’s like I was trying to exit my body. I can’t describe it but it’s like my consciousness left...and then as quick as it started, it was over. And it’s been a rollercoaster ride ever since.

Many years of spiritual study and training, but I believe now that mine was triggered by Covid. I was nearly paralyzed and bedridden for almost 3 years with unbelievable neurological pain, burning & wild sensations throughout my body. Everyone said nothing could be done but miraculously the doctor of a loved friend, tried a drug that calmed the intense burning neuropathy enough so I could start to physically recover. There is much that I am left with, Bliss, yes, but wild emotion & near constant weeping. I am still struggling to cope. I will join your group.🙏🏻

    Hi graig,
    ive been wondering for quite some time now how it would be like to be fully 100% activated by kundalini. They say the stage of opening all chakra’s from root to crown is a process of a lifetime and even that is the first stage. There should be 2 more stages after this. What is your opinion on this? This thinking should be closely monitored though because it can feed the ego and before you know it, every new experience will enforce those egocentric beliefs.
    I had my kundalini awakening 2 years ago and everything went very quick. I felt blissfull in every way. Kundalini is every day with me and i feel the pulsating waves of the snake pulsing in all my chakra’s. I also feel all my chakra’s spinning and sometimes when i go to bed i get the insane energy rushes ,and altough the pathways were getting clearer and clearer with fewer resistance.
    the last time it shot straight up from the root to my brain in about 2 seconds. Ive never had it like that before. All energy stopped at the ajna and it was pulsating so hard that i thought my head was going to explode. Extreme scary but extreme blissfull and gratefull. Ive learned to just surrender because no growth happens from resisting.
    I just have the feeling that i’m in my “last stages”? And the next step will be an open crown chakra.
    Also there are periods were everything dies down for months at a time.
    sometimes.
    i then almost dont feel spiritual anymore if you can understand what i mean.. perhaps you can assist me in my next steps to take, and what do you feel about all this.
    Also will there be “true enlightment” in this lifetime when we continue like this? Or will it just be the next stage.
    Sorry for the ramble but i wanted to explain my mental statements as well as possible but im sure you understand where i am right now.
    Thanks again. Great day

  • @alanfrancis9225

    This is exactly what I experienced.
    On my 6th Vipassana retreat this happened to me on day 9. At 9:30 in bed this force energy started surging and pumping through my body. It started in my feet which were very hot. Burrowing up my legs in strong surges, through my spine, neck, head arms, torso. It lasted for 10 hours. It seemed to be driven by a pump. It wouldn’t stop. Now I have stress as my body recovers. I am looking now for guidance of how to manage this and bring it into my life. As a child and adult I disassociated to survive. As I wasn’t in my body, this “homecoming “ of my life force makes perfect sense.
    Of course I have “toxic “ or negative beliefs that held this force back. They do not want this energy hence the stress. The mask I wore to survive is breaking down. It understandable that this transformation will be challenging.

    The piece about seeing the sensations as pure energy, another face of the divine, has been extremely helpful in my not resisting what happens. What I have been struggling with more than the physical sensations is the immediate reaction from my ego or self or even my body of pure panic. It has also been shocking to experience the depth of darkness and terror that is in my psyche. So very humbling. I don't in any way feel like others have suggested, that Satan is present as some force outside of me. It is completely my own darkness and unconsciousness being illuminated as the energy moves. Thank you for this.

      The Kundalini spirit is a counterfeit of the real Holy Spirit and it's there to deceive people from God, even Christians. There's been many Gurus, New age leaders, and new age people in general, Hindus, the lot, are all coming to Jesus Christ, and they've been delivered. For your own good I truly suggest searching up the testimonies of people coming from Kundalini into Jesus Christ.

    Real history of spiritual enlightenment and kundalini.
    Here is a summary of what I went through to the direct experience of lighting, in 1991 (I was 19 years old) I had a car accident, in which I hit my head, but specifically the forehead on the steering wheel, it was almost 6 years of headache about sleeping until I actually slept 1 hour a night in the first 4 years, the fact is that this led me to a mental concentration beyond the human to endure the pain ,,,,,,, also entered a phase of deep reflection about the attachment to matter, since the car was my mother's and she suffered because I had hit her car, I just thought it was just matter and nothing else, I did all the medical exams of the time, several specialists, if I discovered nothing unusual, I also began to feel a kind of enormous pressure on the genitals and a muscle spasm of the shore about 15 centimeters below the nape of the neck and I began to feel as if my body were entering a violent pressure inside , I sometimes felt the pressure so strong on the genitals that I masturbated to relieve the pressure, I also began to feel as if I were sinking on the planet, I also began to feel like I was disconnected from the world, a horrifying sensation, it seemed like it was a walking stone, I felt nothing for anyone, it seemed that my heart had completely dried up, I felt no love for anything and no person, I began to think of macabre thoughts, but it was as if a part of me was there watching everything that was happening in the my inner, in my mind, it seemed that I was fighting in my own mind with an army of millions, every day and I felt myself clearing my own mind all the time, I began to study spiritual books, spiritists, yoga, ramatis, and apply the teachings of Jesus, ramatis and everything I felt was good for me, I started attending a spiritist center and participating in works of charity, in that same period I met a the girl that made my heart move, but at the same time I felt that one day she would leave me, I began to feel love for her, something that amazed me because until the moment I did not feel anything for anyone or anything, I felt like a walking robot, and after a year of dating she left me, she was already 16 years old and I was 24 years old, the fact is that we did not transavamos and I treated her like a goddess, even the way to touch her. talk to her, but we did not move, in time she and I began to exchange caresses but accentuated, more ardentes with horny in the popular, but I felt that of my chest leave love growing for her and also felt the love coming out of his breast, it was as if I absolved his magnetism, his energy, at the same time I did charity work at the spiritist center as I distributed soup to the needy, I applied the gospel to myself, I became a vegetarian and I began to watch over my words, and my thought continued in the interior dialogue, it was as if I were clarifying another being within myself, which became more and more meek, docile, I tried to get rid of the pain that consumed my head, in a state of silent despair, then I was very sensitive, and I was very nervous, I could not have sex with her, I just failed, I did not have an erection (because my body was being transformed inside, I felt energies moving inside my body and as if I was going through a kind of rejuvenation and biological evolution, I felt the internal organs being redone), we made other attempts, but even with erection I was very nervous and had premature ejaculation, I was capturing energies until of the environments she ended up leaving me, and after 3 days walking and acting like I was a zombie I heard in my ear in my bed before laying a voice saying to FORGIVE HER,

    Hi Craig, it's really wonderful to hear someone speak about kundalini from their own direct experience, and clarify the experience in contrast to other energetic movements in the body through yoga for example. For the past six and half years of mostly torture as well as incredible bliss st times, and having this energy literally tear through my life like a tornado. Listening to you gives me reassurance that I'm not alone with it, that someone else understands it and knows it directly. Even though it eats me up 24 hours a day, without let up, with a persistence that makes me question how much more I can take, paradoxically I wouldn't have it taken away. I have a question in regards to bodywork, could you make a suggestion as to what type of bodywork might be helpful, as I struggle mostly with the head pressures which feel like blocks, and can take quite sometime to release and get very intense. Is there anything that might be helpful, I already do vipassana, but I'm keen on any suggestions you might have. Thanks you very much :)

    • @craigholliday
      @craigholliday  7 лет назад +1

      Kris, I encourage you to speak with a teacher and get some one on one advice as to why the energy is blocked and how to work with it. If you feel moved to work with me, there is information on my website about that. Kundalini is a very powerful, disorienting and confusing process; although some good instruction from a teacher can radically reorient how we work with this process. That being said, I would suggest cranial sacral work if the energy is in your head. But anything you can do to deeply relax your nervous system will most likely be helpful. And yes sometimes it is just painful as the process opens new channels within you. Your job is to relax, surrender and open. Also, in addition to doing vipassana, I encourage you to work with a heart based meditation practice and to visualize the energy pouring out of the top of your head, gently guide it through the crown and up and out of you.
      In addition, I encourage you to deeply investigate your experience, I found that what I first thought of as pain and pressure in my head, was actually a brilliant light....it took me about 6 months of suffering with it to discover this....things are not always what they seem, especially if we look at our life through the lens of ego.

    Your descriptions are the most accurate I've found. I've been suffering an ever increasing orgasmic bliss & pressure since 2010 or so. At times it's acute in energy center, or part of my body, & at other times it's exploding in every cell. Sometimes I get lower back spasms which become blissful, & other times this intense unending pleasure makes it hard to function. The hardest part though, is that the bliss often seems to spill out into other people. I mean that others experience the bliss as a field effect I guess. I also find myself experiencing tactile awareness of others & the environment like they're a part of my body. It's really been stressful most of the time, but I am trying to be open & relaxed:)

      When these overwhelming experiences occur, can you notice that you are OK? That there is a part of you which is quiet, free and ok? Can you find a space of awareness within you, which is simply that--the space of awareness, the space in which all phenomena arises. Do not be afraid of any feelings, they are simply that: feelings. This awakening is meant to upgrade your mind from being a normal human egoic mind, to a Divine inclusive mind, where oneness is normal. At first this experience is disorienting, to say the least, but in the end, oneness simply becomes a quiet and simple way of being. Peace be with you, my friend, -craig

    Hi Craig and others who want to read this. I have heard/read about so many people who had a hard time with the awakening, the power of kundalini - I give my story here in very very VERY short version (how instead it went very well). In my case, at the age of 40, I had a severe stutter all my life and at the same time almost my whole body was full of eczema. I have suffered in many ways, believe me, from childhood, school days and up to adulthood. But believe it or not, I met a woman where sparks flew between us in the name of love. In all this turmoil, I wanted so badly to try to find help for myself; I knew somewhere in my heart that I was suffering from psychosocial ailments and felt that there SHOULD be help to get. I found a male therapist who practiced liberating breathing ("rebirthing"). I had actually given up hope of "getting well", I would have died there and then I would not have hesitated to leave this life. But it also became (one of) the key to the big change that was to come. I knew absolutely NOTHING about "awakening", "kundalini", "body and soul healing" in the beginning but this amazing therapist supported me and taught me what was to come. The therapy began and my therapist was in my absolute vicinity. I felt the kundalini enter my body and find its way into my body's musculature and tissues, bombarding with its energy and cleansing my systems. Sometimes very scary and for me disturbing feelings that arose but when my skilled therapist detected this (watched my facial grimaces) his hand came and rested on my arm and I felt calm and safe again and the process could continue. That said, this is the very short version of my story. But for 4 months and every Tuesday for about 2-3 hours at a time, I went through the therapy and peel after peel was removed, i.e. blockages were cleared out and in the end I became completely healthy, started to be able to talk freely and there was nothing left of all the eczema. My great happiness for this was that I also met God and spirituality mentally. So this journey of mine in life was absolutely fantastic. The sad thing was that the love in this woman I met, it left me. From her perspective, I had become someone else - and if the truth is to be revealed, I myself could no longer even imagine who I was before and who I had become after all this new experience I had had. But we have been in contact over the years and I have managed to inspire her to take hold of her own life. We all have our own journey to make. I have been completely healthy and functioning socially for 17 years now.

      PeaceKeeperMoe yes absolutely. About 20% of the individuals I meet with who go through this process experience chronic fatigue. Of course this makes the whole experience quite difficult. Sometimes individuals have too much energy from their awakening and other times they are left very much depleted. Another option is to have both extremes. This is why it is helpful to have good support along the way

    I just realized that hope and shame is interwoven in my life because my parents have been my financial supporters so far and yes I am 53 haha and that very thing contains the shame and the hope and suspended state of mind. For 53 years I have lived with this dull basso continuo of uneasy underlying pain and this inability to really relax. (My mother was the one with that guilt pushing energy not my father. I'm a woman my name is Nicki. Kenny is my former dog.) I know now the entire context of this it took me my entire life to find out and systematically I worked myself towards this final day where I told my family that I don't want any of their money and inheritance anymore and I need to leave them for my own personal protection and sanity. (If parents are unconditionally loving and give money from the heart it is a different story all together and that happens extremely rarely that parents are free from pain, shame and pride.) My parents have much pain and everything is unconscious thus they put shame on me. When I freed myself from that guilt tripping burden that entire load which I have been depicting as heavy suit cases has all fallen off. I had this cartoon in my head of me standing there with open arms and my family loads me up with their suit cases then I stand there with the suit cases on my arms and shoulders and then they demand from me "Now fly" and as I try to fly to their command all that my body is able to manage next is to fall over forward right on my face with the sound "ufff". I have been wanting to paint that with acrylic on Styrofoam but it's not necessary anymore. I have let go of their suit cases. I still can't fly but at least I can walk on my own in freedom.

    I am new to the whole Kundalini awakening notion as I have reached a new level of awakening that has taken my whole life to get to and have started experiencing ringing in my ears non stop, back pain and today the burning pressure headache but based on what you went through although it seems beautiful is not something I feel I am ready for , would you say your awakening was too quickly or is that mostly how it occurs?

      My experience was and is quite intense and dramatic compared to others. I have worked with thousands of individuals, and many people experience some intensity, but it is rare to experience all that i describe. But just because it is rare, does not mean that this does not happen.
      Most of us are not ready for such an experience, but this path is something we grow into. I have no thoughts of whether it was too quickly or too slow, one of the things we are forced to let go of, through this process is our argument with life/God (we give up our agendas and time lines). God is in charge and this Intelligence is much wiser than our human minds. Our job is to surrender into this movement. Most of us do not know how to do this, which is why it is helpful to have a teacher who has walked through this door, and integrated their experience. If you would like support with your experience, feel free to visit my website for details on meeting. www.craigholliday.com It can be quite difficult to go through this experience alone. I had great support and great teachers, because of this, I feel it was less confusing, and disorienting than had I been on my own.

    Hi Craig, im enjoying your videos!
    I'd been on the spiritual path with several teachers since i was 23 and by 34 after a divorce and recovery from a serious illness that just went on and on... i was feeling this intense unconsolable terror of annihilation where i was even afraid to close my eyes, just this unrelenting energy of death.. i had aome really weird moments where i lost it completely and was writhing around on my bed not even knowing where i was.. scary, no one had answers... finally, finally i couldn't hold on anymore and something unraveled in my head.. i had visions related to what was stuck in life, then a wonderful realization of self nature and non duality.. after that i had no fear of death at all. it was like the world was new and not outside of me. This was 14 years ago now.

      Michael, that is a beautiful experience. Often times the kundalini unravels in the midst of a painful life experience. When the ego is met with tremendous pain, sometimes it simply gives up its repressive power and simply lets go. In these moments, something profound within can begin to unravel within us. Our work is to continue to surrender to this inner Intelligence and bring our life into alignment with this awakened consciousness. Thank you for your beautiful sharing. Peace be with you my friend

    I've had the weirdest sensations within my spine. It feels like a heartbeat within the spine that pulses to my heartbeat by squeezing and letting go with each beat. I've asked doctors back in 2013 about it and they looked at me like a deer in headlights. As if almost I'm making it up or being a hypochondriac. Its painful. It used to only go from the base of my spine and would stop at the sacral but not sure if I cleared some things because it reaches to the middle of my neck now, when it travels from the base of my spine. I must have a throat chakra block or is it just a process for it to progress up further?

    There were clearly many egoic layers left to open when this happened. Ideally the non dual realization is there before any big energetics take place to make the process of surrender much more intuitive as the go-to place by default. If this needs to be discovered half way through it sounds like a real challenge!

    What is the point of a person evoking kundalini awakening? It seems like an expression that would reinforce the one having the experience. I feel that if I were having this kundalini experience I would immediately ask -who is the one having this experience? The kundalini rising experience would be something someone who is still seeking aspires to have....a person who hasn't yet learned that what's looking is what they are looking for. Does this sound correct to you?

    • @craigholliday
      @craigholliday  7 лет назад +1

      This was not something I was looking for, but rather something which arose within me spontaneously. It was the same with my teacher Adyashanti. His wisdom helped to guide me through this dramatic awakening. It is an incredible Grace and is an aspect of energetic awakening. For this awakening to come to completion, one must be willing to surrender the I into and It and what you begin to discover is that I and That are one. But in regards to your question, this is not some little spiritual experience which can be simply transcended with nondual trick questions, this experience is arising in the individual by way of God's will. Who is having this experience? God is awakening in you as You. Surrender to Kundalini, is surrendering to God.

      craig holliday Thank you for responding and answering my question. Years ago I spent a great deal of time and energy trying to bring about a kundalini awakening. I did pranayama and meditated relentlessly. Did tons of retreats. It never happened. When I discovered the teachings of Ira Schepetin and most importantly Paul Hedderman I realized that my attempts to get salvation for a non existing thing made no sense. I realized that trying to invoke an awakening for a self that was illusory was spiritual materialism at best. I've called off the search because after hearing the message that living spirit is what I am makes any attempt to acquire living spirit through spiritual practice a futile endeavor. I've been traveling lighter ever since. I still meditate and listen to Sat-sang regularly. I listened to your guided meditation titled opening through grace and enjoyed it. Thanks.

    • @craigholliday
      @craigholliday  7 лет назад +1

      You bring up some interesting points. Yes, of course trying to chase after spiritual experiences is a form of spiritual materialism. I agree fully, and have to often puncture the bliss bubble that many ungrounded spiritual seekers chase after or attempt to live in. But that being said, your true nature is made up of vast spacious Awareness, luminous Bliss, and Intelligence. Satchidananda is our nature. Beyond working with individuals who chase bliss, I have many students who simply have dry nondual philosophical understanding and mistake that for realization. Realization is not some dry dead truth, realization is a full experience of Satchiananda. It is overwhelmingly bright, spacious, and intelligent. It is dynamic. If we want to open in a full way, we dedicate our lives to this path. We give ourselves fully to heart centered spiritual practice. We surrender everything to God, we open our hearts, fully to Her Grace. This is our work if we want to awaken to the Truth.

      craig holliday I feel like there is no way to know what I am. I have woken from a seeming trance by knowing what I'm not. Is there any higher awakening than that? I do feel a sense presence in knowing what I'm not. I feel much lighter.How does this compare to what you describe as awakening to the truth?
      PS: I have the feeling you might think I am a non-duality troll. I assure you I am not. I am just very curious. Thanks

    • @craigholliday
      @craigholliday  7 лет назад +2

      You can absolutely know who you are in your direct experience. The only way to truly know who and what we are, is to look to our direct experience. Much of what you have shared is the path of Neti Neti. Not this, not that. And this is a powerful doorway in to the truth of what you are. I myself walked through this doorway. It is good to let go of what you are not, so that you can begin to know what you are. Letting go is a good first step....next I invite you to: Feel into the direct experience of your presence. Become quite exact and be completely honest about this inquiry. It is easy to see that thoughts come and go and they are not what we are. But what is here that does not come and go? If you don't feel kundalini, don't worry about that, I simply mention that because this page contains some of my kundalini teachings. Instead, notice what is your direct experience of aliveness? What is aliveness, what is presence? What is looking out of your eyes? Is it spacious? Is it luminous? Is it free? Are you this? What are you my friend? Don't look for some philosophical nondual explanation of what you are and parrot that back.....instead look to the direct experience of this moment, what is looking out of your eyes? It is impossible to embody the truth of what you are if you do not know what you are. What is here in every moment of your life? Be with this my friend.

    at the same moment I prayed with all my heart for her and for all humanity, thick tears streamed down my face and my heart exploded like an atomic bomb, I felt a great deal of energy moving from the genic chakra to the heart, I also felt how layers were breaking inside my heart and I felt a presence inside the target's target alive inside me, at the same moment I felt that two beings appeared in my room with a feeling of infinite love for me, one of them touched my forehead and felt an energy flooding me and I fell asleep immediately after years without practically sleeping, it was my first night of sleep about 8 hours after years, I flew to a diaphanous place and there I talked with a female entity that I felt was illuminated and told me that she would return, when I woke up the other day something inside me had changed, I felt love for the people and I set a deadline of 10 days for her to come back, which But the relationship was no longer the same, I felt that soon she would leave me for good, one day kissing I had something terrifying, I felt she had destroyed me in a past life and I felt a deep hatred for her, but she passed in a matter of seconds and I had the intuition that I should love her deeply and that's what I did, my love for her only grew, but at the same time I grew up for people, people I did not even know, animals and even rocks, my prayers I began to feel tears coming down and an ever greater love for people, animals, I felt the energy coming out of my chest, another thing that began to happen was that I began to concentrate on the forehead, more and more when I prayed, because I had read in some spiritual book that the light annihilated the psychic bacs of the mind and that they came from past lifetimes ill-lived and that it was necessary to burn them through the light, I began to pray concentrating on the forehead and felt a energy in the forehead at a point between the eyebrows as if it were a coal buried in my forehead, the funny thing is that the pain did not diminish, it did increase, but I grew stronger inside, I began to feel a walking fortress, already I did not complain inwardly of the enormous pain I felt in my head, in fact I began to thank, it was as if I was rescuing something, at that time I was already studying everything that appeared ahead in terms of spiritual books, spiritist, yoga, etc., in a thirst for knowledge but I felt that I was studying a lot that was very superficial, I had not read anything about kundalini and how its mechanism worked and how it worked in relation to sex with love, in my courtship we continued the sarres and tried to fuck, but I could not and she was also nervous, but I touched her more and more with veneration and she confessed that she felt so much love for me that she was afraid, she confessed that dep ois we came back when I kissed her she felt her heart burn in flames, as something had opened, at the same time I knew she also activated her heart chakra, we continued a time of dating, but I continued to feel that the dating would not and that I should prepare myself for the moment of the rupture, and that's what I did, I was living in a way that felt love leave my chest for everyone and for everything, I felt the energy even in the spiritist center that frequented the my hands came out a very strong energy that I felt was used for healing, I also began to capture the thoughts of people, both incarnated and disincarnated, it was as if I knew in essence what people were thinking and feeling, my head began to weigh as if weighed 1 ton,

    Yep, the snake movements. Thanks for your teachings. I have been going through this for months. It has calmed down, but my third eye has been vibrating and feeling like a magnet or a band radiating out from between my eyebrows for months now and i feel energy rise a bit here and there and i am so terrified that it will start again. Even on kundalini groups on social media, they have no clue. 99 % of the people on there had energetic movements but not a full awakening. I felt like my whole body was searing with white hot heat at first. Glass in my spine, the krias felt like they were jerking me so hard that they would break bones. Then getting so high from the feeling cascading down that i felt like i couldn't really tell anyone how i was feeling, mainly because my memory wouldn't work correctly and i felt lile what i was experiencing couldn't be put into words. Everything and nothing, life and death, scattering and connecting. Bliss and terror. Not the sorts of things that you can describe when you are out of your mind.
