This is exactly what I noticed when playing Donic Ovtcharov No1 Senso, which I believe is made for Donic by DHS and was admitted to be a W868 clone. Forehand - backhand transition is quite challenging since the rebound from the blade is not as reactive as Viscaria. You always need to make a good impact on the backhand. Otherwise, the power of the incoming ball is kind of absorbed, and even if you make it on the table, the ball is quite passive. Stepping back a little on backhand drive helps, and you need to master the good timing. This is the same reason for the blade being slow on slow shots. It's like having two very different gears. This effect isn't that noticeable in other blades of the same inner-ALC composition, e.g., Innerforce ALC. You can get a lot of advantage out of that, though, just a matter of your playing style. Playing with it for over 18 months and I love it.

W968 national is too expensive for me and not worth for my level of play. Some saying that commercial version is not good so. Is it worth buying the provincial version of w968? i saw it cost around $270 on 247 table tennis. Any suggestion pls

I enjoy playing with it on the forehand as well, but backhand block & top spins are very skill demanding. I don't like feeling of outer ALC with Timo Boll Spirit (old version), the dwell time is just too little

@@TuanNguyen-xm5cs both have different feeling, h3 national is Chinese tacky rubber with hard sponge. D05 is Japanese non tacky rubber. Both of them are super different. I cannot compare them because there are two different thing.

Yasaka athlete power is better in backhand. Maybe you may try yasaka atletico, it has similar structure with w968 too

Yasaka power is more easy to handle, backhand side is more easy to play. W968 is more ball quality in forehand side.

Ya some of them will, if you remove the rubber gently it will be fine

Harimoto is more stable and good in backhand, 968 is more better in forehand and attact.
