Hey sister, keep rocking. That was really awesome and may God bless you with those talents beyond your wildest dreams for his glory and the benefits of others
Great video, thanks! My 2 cents: I would add the progression I-V-b7-IV. And yes, I recently discovered that IV and iv works great. I would add these 2 wherever the last chord is a IV, so maybe play IV for 2 beats and the iv for the last 2 beats going back to I...Amazing sound...
Can you look at Gospel back-cycling triads but time stretched to one bar each. They are all coming back home, but I like to leave out the final IV -I Cadence. You can explore as many levels of back-cycling that you would like.
Well I love playing Ballads on the piano and the 1, 5, 6, 4 is a classic Richard Marx song... Such an easy piece to play and if you dont know how to play piano and you have to impress a girl at a party - anyone can learn it... Although if she busts out Beethoven's 3rd movement of the moonlight sonata and she's a classically trained pianist - just walk away... LOL... This was a great tutorial...
Thank you for your video! Just a small consideration: I think that progression I - bVII - IV should be viewed as V - IV - I. What do you think about? Bye
Excellent tutorial. I liked ALL of the progressions and the way you played them. Thanks. It's your rhythm playing that makes them all sound so good.
Thank you!! :) yeah you gotta add some rhythm!! 😃

Unpredictable progressions are my favorite. That’s why I like Billy Joel.

Hey! It’s another way of seeing it. I’d say it really depends on where is the Root chord. What key is song in!
É como uma receita de bolo, depois de decorar, podemos identificar o sabor do bolo pelo cheiro, que são as
progressões e então repetir a receita
3:24 The song would be in the key of F?
Another way of looking at it.
Love it you using second inversions but not mention about it....Why?
Hey!! This video was really about the progressions but I have many other video about the use of chord inversions :)
@@OnlineRockLessons On your website? or here on youtube?
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Is the second progression in C? Surely it's F - you can even hear it resolve to the F
Yes! They are all in C :)
It sounds like C mixolydian

I love the 2-5-1 progression. And I love the 1-2-4-5 progression.
Put an orange in the comment if you love oranges 🍊
I bVII bVI V7
The chord progressions are fine, but I dont know why you played something different in the examples from what you played in the explainations
Hey! It’s the same chords :) in the example I played the song example, how it can sounds like and then just explained the chords 😃
