Younger/Yager is in full wife mode. Already, this feels like home to her. Unlike Rosa and Killy, she doesn't have a large family nearby to always teach her. No mother in law or sister in law hovering around to nelp. Not that I can see. Funny the different paths each wife's life is taking. Some with mothers in law, some without. Some with large extended families, some without. Some with new stepkids, some without. Some in cities, some in villages, some in both. Some in tolerable temperatures, some in extreme cold. Some in middle class families, some in poorer families.

She’s just a wife living outside her country rather than a housekeeper.
