But Pepa grows on me real quickly because she's so relatable and I quickly find her to be really gorgeous.

Well I believe the toy actually foreshadows the real jaguar who is also supposed to be named parce but the animal designs on the box also foreshadow some other animals we see later in the film thiers a jaguar , a toucan , and a capybara .

Papa’s gift is a real problem to her,she has to be happy all the time and even when she gets mad or upset,everyone’s like “stop this” but no one ever says “are you okay?” or “what’s wrong?” It’s like her mood has to be perfect all the time and she’s not allowed to talk about her anger or sadness so the skies be always clear and shining,poor Pepa,it would’ve been better if casita is back without the gifts,they’ll much happier,it would be for the first time a happy family for real but all those years with their gifts,they weren’t happy,they were just pleasing Abuela and they were just pretending to be happy and acting fake
