Всё-таки, замечательно, что вам удалось проделать такую громадную работу. Даже если вы не нашли возможности (можно понять) переделать все старые теоретические видео, практические очень сильно их дополняют. Они более структурированы и есть ощущение, что вы к моменту их записи стали гораздо сильнее как преподаватель, ваша речь выразительнее. Да и качество видео гораздо лучше. Порой ловлю себя на мысли, если что-то не понял на теоретическом уроке, то на практическом точно пойму. А заодно узнаю как там дела у Клер и отработаю тему.
Спасибо, да это так и есть. Я писала первые видео, можно сказать,вслепую нащупывая "путь блогера". Это было еще 6 лет назад. А историю Клер я писала в 19-20. Так что за плечами было уже 3-4 года опыта.

Спасибо) Ну, прям 100% прототипа нет. Но по внешности я взяла за основу солистку группы, которую тогда слушала. Группа называется the Corrs. Я слушала старые альбомы и концерты, где ей было как раз лет 20-25. Вот примерно на нее и ориентировалась (в жизни она тоже носила очки). Эта девушка, солистка, в жизни худенькая, так что Клер еще предстояло стать такой, а в первой половине романа она боролась со своим весом, не следила за фигурой (если вы на 28м уроке, то еще основная история впереди, не буду спойлерить). Характер и внутренний мир - сборная солянка из моего окружения, меня и типичных проблем, с которыми могла бы столкнуться девушка в этот период жизни (если без жести, зависимостей и психических травм, что я посчитала лишним, хотя на раннем этапе и такие идеи были).

По поводу ненормативного слова, тут по моему мнению играет злую роль академическое произношение которое учат многие студенты оно и делает модальный глагол и ругательство хомофонами, но на самом деле это ошибочное утверждение т.к. в реальной Английской языковой среде это слово произносится по другому(как и пишется) через у, то есть это кунт и это невозможно перепутать. То есть это притянуто зауши. Тот кто учит академический английский не учит таких слов, а тот кто учит слова в подворотне англоязычных стран вероятно не очень заботится о академическом произношении.
Я вообще не понимаю,как можно перепутать слова, которые грамматически используются совершенно по разному. Поэтому считаю ролики на эту тему полным идиотизмом, чисто для хайпа записанным.
Можно в предложении:where did you drive us? (It’s the wrong place); можно использовать Pr.Perfect? Where have you driven us? Оно тут не уместнее? Или это тот случай, когда Вы говорили, что все чаще Perfect упрощается до Past?

В учебнике Murphy, говорится что американский вариант can't в значение вероятности - это must not. (У вас написано что couldn't). Sarah hasn't contacted me. She can't (must not) have got my message. - Сара до сих пор не связалась со мной. Должно быть она не получала моё сообщение (которое я отправил ей ранее).

Здравствуйте Елена Викторовна, у меня появился вопрос : почему в предложении « You must have bought the old versions of Hoffman’s books that haven’t been adopted” - « haven’t been adopted» стоит в Present perfect , а начало предложении идёт в прошлом Разве не должно быть « hadn’t been adopted? Или это Пассивный залог?Никак не могу понять.
В перво части у нас must - оно жестко ко времени не привязано. must have + v3 лишь показывает, что предположение не касается настоящего,а касается прошлого.
Здравствуйте Елена Викторовна, не совсем понятно почему же мы используем презент перфект « haven’t been adopted» вместо « hadn’t been adopted"? .Первая же часть происходит в прошлом "You must have bought the old versions". И можно ли вообще обойтись простым прошлым временем "wasn't adopted"?

в предложение Now the books совсем нет глагола, такое разве может быть я думал английские предложения не могут быть без глаголов?
в предложении ...as we are almost twenty если вместо as я скажу because это будет ошибкой?
Укороченные предложения, конечно, бывают. Но обратите внимание, что в них обычно отсутствует пара "подлежащее и сказуемое".

Здравствуйте Елена Викторовна, у меня появился вопрос : почему в предложении « You must have bought the old versions of Hoffman’s books that haven’t been adopted” - « haven’t been adopted» стоит в Present perfect , а начало предложении идёт в прошлом Разве не должно быть « hadn’t been adopted? Или это Пассивный залог?Никак не могу понять.
В перво части у нас must - оно жестко ко времени не привязано. must have + v3 лишь показывает, что предположение не касается настоящего,а касается прошлого.

Здравствуйте Елена Викторовна, не совсем понятно почему же мы используем презент перфект « haven’t been adopted» вместо « hadn’t been adopted"? .Первая же часть происходит в прошлом "You must have bought the old versions". И можно ли вообще обойтись простым прошлым временем "wasn't adopted"?
