This “Will they? Won’t they?” stuff always happens before debates. She’s going to the debate. It’s just political trash talk that never goes anywhere. The same stuff was said before the Trump and Biden debate both this year and in 2020. I’ve never seen anyone actually do it on a presidential stage. Sure, Trump skipped one of the Republican primary debates in 2016, but that was just one of several debates. There’s not enough time for either candidate to get away with not debating. It would just look terrible no matter the excuse.
