Thunderhead is a song about a man dying and suffering from an heroin addiction. The dialog between the master and slave, on a subconscious level this man is submitting himself to his inner demon/addiction. Besides how depressing the songs content is, still one of fav WASP songs..............I have too many to list.
My older sister got this album when I was like 10 or something. It blew my fucking head off. Sounded like a concert at the apocalypse, the MASSIVE reverbs on it just make it so epic
The bloody, nightmarish picture of drug abuse painted in this song is bonechilling. Headless is the band's best album for me, it's such an awesome record. Loved your reaction to this classic, it's always great to hear your viewpoint on music, especially metal.
Thunderhead is a great track. The part where it sounds like he is talking to the devil. He's actually talking to his drug addiction. What could be a better metaphor for drug addiction then the devil? WASP is pretty underrated for the lyrical ability there is usually more depth then at first glance (or listen!).
I think it's cos they mostly sing about tits n arse. But this album was really special. I loved it as a kid then got live in the raw and was like "oh... ok sure." To clarify I'm no prude lol But this album seemed to have so much more substance than any of the others I've heard since
You shoud definitely check out more early/earlier WASP songs. Some of my personal favorites are L.O.V.E. Machine, On Your Knees, Tormentor, and Show No Mercy.
This album was telling people that the 'hair band' is over, it's time for Rock'n' Roll !! The true legends have an epic break out album, this is there's!!
The song The Headless Children is really good and is still relevant today. Mean Man and Man Eater are the two best songs on this album for me. Mean Man will leave you on the floor the first time you hear it.
WASP is one of my all time favorite bands of all time since high school, but now with a daughter that has burned her life to the ground, is currently homeless and strung out on Heroin.... I never thought this song would mean so much to me. So sad. You can't save these people. They pull everyone around them down and destroy everything.
A nice little bit of "light borrowing" from Metallica's Master Of Puppets concept, during that spoken exchange between "Thunderhead" and the "demon" (personification of the drugs).
Brazilian drummer Aquiles Priester is the man behind the beats in WASP now and the man is an absolute beast. He was the mentor of Sepultura's drummer Eloy Casagrande. You should check out his playthrough of DragonForce's Through The Fire & Flames on his or Paiste Cymbals' channels.
Album cover is DEEP! Look closely and you see KKK guys, Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Al Capone. All of society's worst. THEY are the headless children.
Last record to feature guitarist Chris Holmes... he did return in 1997 but bailed again in 2001. These days, he's very bitter about Blackie Lawless... claims he was screwed out of his publishing royalties for WASP.
We do regular request all the time but we do recognize that we are obligated to our patrons and supporters. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to operate this channel. Funny enough, when we started our patreon we were taking request for a dollar. 1 dollar and no one would support the channel. So yea, we are grateful for the ones who believe in us.
I feel also that it is not just about drug addiction: but, addiction to status and power. I have seen too many times; especially in the workforce, this happens. It is like selling your soul to advance your own self interest, damn whom ever you have to betray. Which; ironically, is themselves!!

More WASP Wednesdays? Two words: HELL YES!!!
So glad I got to see them live. W.A.S.P. Wednesday!!

Been hearing this album since 1990 when it reached India, hear it al least once a day.
Straight up, one of the best reactions and breakdowns I have ever heard! The entire Headless Children album cannot miss!
Blackie Lawless is very good with his songwriting and keeps you thinking.

Not a lot of people react to wasp. They are so underrated. Blackie is a beast! Thanx for this!
School days, LOVE machine, I Wanna Be Somebody, wild child. Forever free. Etc etc…. Too many to choose from
You shoud definitely check out more early/earlier WASP songs. Some of my personal favorites are L.O.V.E. Machine, On Your Knees, Tormentor, and Show No Mercy.
Yes! + "Sleeping (In The Fire)" + "School Daze"
Manimal
I got into WASP at 13 yo. This song tears into me. And that double solo! Did you catch that?
i was also 14
From start to finish, this is one of THE BEST albums by Blackie & Co, EVAH!!
This album was telling people that the 'hair band' is over, it's time for Rock'n' Roll !! The true legends have an epic break out album, this is there's!!
wtf is a "hair band"? and what hair trend did WASP buck cos I seem to remember them having hair just like every other glam rock band in the 80s
The song The Headless Children is really good and is still relevant today. Mean Man and Man Eater are the two best songs on this album for me. Mean Man will leave you on the floor the first time you hear it.
Hell yeah, I want some more W.A.S.P. Wednesday!

More WASP Wednesday!!! Hell yea
This is 1 of my fav w.a.s.p songs right up with chainsaw charlie. You should try out hallowed ground!
Hallowed Ground is a great song. And a great tribute to those lost on 9/11.
"W.A.S.P. - Sleeping (In The Fire)" from early works of this rock band is very deep and powerful song! 🤘
You've reacted to a few tracks off the Crimson Idol. How about that album's grand finale "The Great Misconceptions Of Me"?
Love your shows Bro, Effing Awesome
9:00 "Anthem-ic"?
Does anyone know what Blackie is saying during the piano intro?

My favorite song from Headless children.
Headless Children is their best album!
The Neutron Bomber!!!
I remember seeing this tune live on the Headless Children tour and they had a video screen showing people shooting up...disturbing as heck.
100%. Wasp is incredible. React to the song “Scream” one of their newer songs.
WASP Wednesday oh hell yeah brother I'm in
a great song
Wasp's best album. \m/ \m/
Album cover is DEEP! Look closely and you see KKK guys, Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Al Capone. All of society's worst. THEY are the headless children.
Can't get enough W.A.S.P. need more!!!
Have you ever seen them live?
More WASP Wednesdays? Abso-fuckin'-lutely! WASP Rules! \m/

React to The Great Misconceptions Of Me, the last track of The Crimson Idol
Yes! It's really powerful! But it is needed to listen full The Crimson Idol album before ))
Blackie Lawless will never get the credit he deserves
Yes
Love W.A S.P. and IRON MAIDEN
Badass LP...underrated by some. Not a bad cut on it.
Last record to feature guitarist Chris Holmes... he did return in 1997 but bailed again in 2001.
These days, he's very bitter about Blackie Lawless... claims he was screwed out of his publishing royalties for WASP.
Is WASP Wednesdays still a thing? I have been eagerly awaiting the return of that! :-)
Lost my littlle brother to Thunderhead. :(

More W.A.S.P. Wednesday!! Do "The Gypsy Meets the Boy."
Try The Great Misconception of Me by W.A.S.P. PHENOMENAL SONG
I would REALLY like you to react to Killswitch Engage “Always”
This song reminds me of Megadeth ever so slightly.

you need to listen to type o negative if you want to hear some really groovy far
Try listening to Mortal sin I am immortal. Will not be disappointed. 🤘🤘🤘🤘😀
Please do.
Do my tortured eyes
These deep lyrics are forgotten lest it be TNT and such.
Thunderhead is about drug-addiction.
"The venom that poisons the snake"
Its an anti heroin song .
Love your channel❤, but it's very disappointing you only reacting to patreons request 😔

@@TheAdventuresofTNT That's understandable, but i unfortunately can't commit to be a patreon. I would if i could 😔
This song sucks. Inside the Electric Circus was their last album.
Weak.
Headless is the best album
