Half half, end of the day you can always get better. Yes it's not AS entertaining but it's also infinitely more pure, and I don't think thats something to scoff at. Part of the reason MMA is so enticing I think is genuinely because it's the closest thing to a pure no rules fight, and to truly tell how good someone is in all aspects. Once you start messing with that formula you muddy the waters real fast. There is a reason more people watch MMA than kickboxing, end of the day. Similar to there being a reason more people watch F1 than a spec series with 'more exciting racing'.
The wrestler has to get that good in order to do that boring fight style, it's not a given they can take them down. Going for a takedown means you have to close the distance, it's not some OP strategy, there's risk involved - and you can get knocked out, just like Aljo et al. Not only that, this isn't like a given someone can be that good at wrestling, you're not born with it. If they got good at it, the other fighter can too. Yes going for this approach is less exciting, but there is much less reward you aren't considering as well. You will forgo ending the fight way quicker and give your opponent 5 chances to knock you out instead of 1, you will get less bonuses, you will get worse fight selection choices as a non fan favourite, you will get worse sponsorship deals, you will have less contract negotiation sway. Case in point, watch what happens to these strikers as they lose to the boring wrestlers, they aren't going to fall far in the rankings, we all know a lot of it is to do with how loved you are; and on the flipside, why Merab needed 9/10 fights in a row to challenge for the title and even that was an uphill battle he had to win over on social media

Where does the rounds system favor wrestlers? It favours strikers because they will be stood up again. In a roundless fight a good wrestler will control the opponent for the whole fight then. You are contradicting yourself on that statement. You are also free to watch striking sports

Because all a wrestler has to do is get 1 single takedown and control the oppononent for the whole round, without doing any damage, case in point Belal and Merab.

Khabibs cousin, Ankalaev, and they literally cut Muhammad Mokaev for being boring.

I no it’s part of it but nobody honestly like watching the hugging matches

He wasn’t hugging, he was bludgeoning. Hugging is what Allen did in round 1 of his fight
