- It's been a while since we played #AmongUs with our chums at Outside Xbox, Outside Xtra and Dicebreaker... but as a new map has launched today, what better time than now to return to the suss-simulator?! This week, Ian and Aoife who are trapped aboard a spaceship with Mike and Jane from Outside Xbox, Ellen and Luke from Outside Xtra and Wheels and Lolies from Dicebreaker! Which one of our crafty crewmates is a lying, murderous alien imposter? Whoever you guess, you're probably wrong...

'The Condimates' is the most wholesome thing I've seen in a long time, and im subbed to r/wholesome. Loved it, made up for the time Ian tried to befriend Aoife and did a "friend dance" and she just booted him out.

I thought Ian was breaking the game by being space buddies after they disbanded but nope, galaxy brain thinking by playing the oblivious space buddy code card and actually won them the game, as well as saying who hes voting for to keep Luke alive. Proper MVP stuff there by Ian! Deserved way more credit than he got!

To be honest, I was THRILLED to hear you say the new map hadn't dropped yet, because that meant there would be another Among Us stream coming soon! This was great, so glad to hear Aoife narrating.

I've been binging these Among us streams for a month or two now (I think? Time is but a concept at this point) and can say with brimming confidence that this was the best one yet. The Space buddies arc is absolute gold.
Imo, the single funniest thing in the entire stream, is Ian's face when he accidentally kills Luke instead of Aoife at 58:47
What's even funnier is at 54:55 Aoife said "I hope the Space Buddies end and I hope Ian is the one kills Luke." High Level Foreshadowing
I loved when Aoife flexed that head of video muscle and made Ian stop chasing her LOL amazing!

Here I am, as always, watching all point of views of this brilliant series.
And that one was arguably the best of the lot. Absolutely loved it.
The Space buddies idea was amazing, it was hillarious to watch (especially during the meetings) but also made the game very interesting from a tactical stand point.
And that moment when Ian killed Luke by accident targetting Aiofe originally...I was crying out laughing. Everything was priceless, Ian's reaction, Luke's reaction, Aoife's reaction (not believing what she just witnessed) and the meeting that followed.
That was so good, well done to all of you and Aoife was a great commentator, as always.

Rewatching this for the umpteenth time, and only now do I notice Luke mourning himself during the first meeting!
Aoife made all the perfect predictions in this game. She predicted that the space buddies would betray each other, she figured out that Ian killed Andy, and she even predicted that the space buddies would come for her right before they did. The only thing she didn't predict was that her other predictions would come true at the same time.

I discovered Eurogamer in the first one of these streams and it's really fun to come back around and see another one as a fan now that I've gone back and watched everything.
Still all these months later, I have to wonder....why in God's name would Luke have stood _next_ to Aoife? Like, what did he think would happen?🤣🤣🤣

The spacebuddies reminded me of the werwewolves Cupid card more than the lycan (which I don't even know)
I'm going to watch these videos several times over because they're so incredibly entertaining! As I've mentioned before, nobody else has been putting up everybody's face cams like this, and it is simply delightful to watch everyone being wonderfully professional and superbly engaging.
If it were possible, I would seriously love to see you all (within the limits of what you're capable of) to play a game together like this every other week or so. But it's merely a respectful request, especially since I have no idea how busy all your schedules are.
This was another great stream and I'm pleased there is the possibility of another stream for when the new map does actually launch.
I am pleased that you all acknowledged that the buddy system broke the game. While the commentary around it was funny, it did make a couple of the rounds a bit of a foregone conclusion and not as fun to watch.
Yeah, I was gonna point out that it wasn't fun anymore as the pre-planned buddy system spilled on so many matches. I stayed up late for the livestream but felt like unsubbing on 4 channels... I haven't though. Hoping that the next Among Us stream will be more enjoyable than this one.
@@rensalazar I mean, once they started Hide and Seek they stopped the Space Buddies system and then agreed at the end that they had broke the game. I've seen some comments saying they hope Luke gets fired for this, which is absolutely ludicrous. Unsubbing really wouldn't have been necessary, not when they've all got so much great content on their channels...
@@danielollett9783 Oh yeah, the comment that said Luke should get fired because of this stream is ridiculous. As a player, he was just playing the game. Again, me and other viewers might have not liked the pre-planned Space Buddy system (and the trio), but the idea of firing someone over so much losses in the game just shows lack of sportsmanship. Maybe the commenter was just too tired and pissed to watch or had a bad day.

Disagree, there were still a lot of very wonderful episodes in X-Files seasons Six and Seven. I think season Eight is perhaps the best season of the show, Robert Patrick is introduced as Agent Doggett and Annabeth Gish as Agent Reyes. My favorite episode of the series is a Reyes/Doggett/Scully episode, season Nine's "Improbable"

The majority of the episodes are stand-alone, one isn't flowing into the next, it's like you're watching a 44 minute movie every time; so I recommend giving the show another go. And when one of those conspiracy-theory-drama-hours pops up and you aren't enjoying it, skip it.
Oh, but don't skip the season 3 episode titled "Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space'" or the season 4 episode titled "Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man", these may appear at first to fit in with the conspiracy arc (called the "Mythology" by the fans) but they are in fact very excellent stand-alone episodes.
I think season three is when they finally figured out what the show was about. So many great episodes right through the end of season nine. The Burt Reynolds episode was a classic, and they had plenty of episodes that were just fun, quirky, and hilarious.

I actually think it had that from the start. The chemistry between Anderson and Duchovny is evident right off the bat. Season One's best episode, in my opinion, is Darkness Falls which holds up well against any episode in the rest of the series.
Season Two's "Humbug" introduced us to the writing of Darin Morgan and proved The X-Files could be a vehicle for comedy and provide thought provoking narrative at the same time.
I think Season Three proved X-Files could continue to deliver on multiple fronts.
All nine seasons did, indeed, deliver.
I think that the show should not have been canceled, Reyes and Doggett could have continued to carry the torch, their strength as characters was proved in episodes like "Improbable" (the Burt Reynolds episode, my favorite) and "John Doe" as well as in their final episode "Sunshine Days"
Watching Aoife leave admin everytime an O2 alarm went off hurt so much. Especially because everytime she got around to O2 it was solved.
So as long as I can start watching the four versions of this by 4 pm local, I can wrap up by midnight.

Commonly accepted hide-&-seek rules:
Imposter: minimal vision & kill range, at the start announces themselves & sabotages coms, cannot vent.
Crewmates: cannot fix coms (red & yellow flashing sabotage arrow) or report bodies (as the imposter is already known).
Lobby: 1 imposter, mics on, movement speed optional, communicating imposter whereabouts decided yes/no before the round (obviously "no" after death), tasks adjusted for difficulty.

Yeah, the comms should stay sabotaged all the way. That's how hide-and-seek is played right.
@@rensalazar That is the point. Crewmates have to seek their tasks with comms sabotaged & the Imposter can't vent to ambush or teleport around to find people but, instead, must seek their prey.
