I remember playing this game as a kid it was one of my favorites, but I would love to have this one, the thought put into this machine puts it in a field of its own. Thanks for Sharing
That full sheet of glass must be super toughened to withstand the ball punishment. I would imagine you would have had to do some magic to cut the required holes for the playfield mechanics as well. That would have taken a great degree of precision.
I'm going with Plexiglas as when the ball lands on it it doesn't "tink" but instead makes a soft thud. Either way with all the mods that's a lot of nice work.
WOW! That is insanely cool! Amazing job. Only thing you need to do is stop that annoying clicking in attract mode. Anyway, congrats on creating such an awesome pin. 👍
Awesome job, I am fascinated with the mirrored playfield glass. How is the wear and do you have to get it water jet cut. You definitely succeeded in modernizing.
I have a BH machine, too, and I find this really cool! I'm jealous! LOL Any chance you did modifications like this to a Haunted House game? I have that and Volcano as well. I've always wondered what HH would be like modernized.
What a great job. The best black hole I have ever seen!!This game is hard enough to keep going when it is all original. Bought one many years ago and cost more to upkeep.Where did you get your plasma bumpers?
hello. I'm curious how did you do to lower the playfield. there is not much space on the inside because of the lower playfield. I want to do it with my BH since the ball is always bouncing on the playfield glass. Big problem with black hole.
+Francis Gauthier Do you mean how did I raise the playfield glass higher to get more room? If so; I added triangular side pieces to the cabinet sides to make the cabinet taller. Nothing was done to the lower playfield, it is in the original location.
i was wracking my brain of which Pinball Machine back in the day blew my mind in the Arcades and this was exactly it WOW!
That mirror play field is esthetically pleasing and a very nice touch! Well done!

These small plasma discs are getting hard to find. I don't know if they make them anymore.

Thanks, That's exactly what I want to know. Great Customization!
