Wow, that’s a pretty weird analogy, but I guess you mean you came to like it. I loved Deface right off the bat because it was so funny. Utopia didn’t really tour behind it, but the Halloween show at the Capitol Theater in Passaic and the New Year’s Eve show at the Tower in Upper Darby were really fun. I’ve never figured out what they did to scramble up the sound on Everybody Else is Wrong at the Halloween show. It had everybody’s head spinning in the theater, but the radio broadcast sounded normal. I can’t believe the historic Tower closed. What a tragedy!
Deface the music was the biggest shocker album from Todd and Utopia back then BUT IT GREW ON ME LIKE A TUMOR.
