For the part a about megachurch leaders flying private jets (10:20), Jesus walked, and rode donkeys (although infrequently). He could have a chariot with horses to go in no time from Galilee to Jerusalem.
My first thought about the salary discrepancy between first aid responders and celebrities and sports athletes is that the former are many and the latter are few, so its impossible pay the first aid responders well. But then I thought, in a given state, what about if everyone that paid the concert tickets and sports events paid to a fund for first aid responders, then they might get a better salary. But they will not get benefits from it most likely. Although seems a better thing to do. But still that is what we do in the taxes. The taxes are supposed to pay them (and also the teachers). And we pay a lot of taxes!!! I guess we need somebody to do a breakdown analysis of the government funds to explain why teachers and first aid responders get paid so little.
