With regards, cover blocks are easily available or not. I'm from Kolkata, so far, I haven't seen this type of cover block. Mostly I saw is Mason put stone chip underneith the steel bars of slab. In column, they keep clearance of 1" from all the sides. This is the practice going on here.

I am used four 10mm rods upto below plinth beam then after I realize to add two 10 mm rods extra.then total six 10 mm rods in that 9*9 pillar from plinth beam onwards.plz give ur suggestion.
