Hi Al nice to see your vid. I was a bit worried about you when I hadn't seen one at the start of the season with your usual reviews and prices. I've literally just arrived back in the UK after 2 weeks in Roda. I got to say that we definitely noticed the price increases. It's the first time since Brexit killed the exchange rate that there's been a noticeable change for the worse. Whether purchasing in supermarkets or restaurants the cost of living issues are showing in Corfu as they are in the UK. It was nice to see Seaport as this restaurant is great. You also showed Yummies snack bar at the start without mentioning the name. Yummies is a must visit for a Crispy Special savoury crepe which is a large meal on its own and has to be tried and great if you're on a budget. Theodoros resort restaurant was notable for its price increases across the whole menu. I noticed the usual boards advertising cheap breakfasts outside the seafront restaurants have all but gone as the prices have all gone up. Some by 50% I totally agree with your issues with Pirates. Their menu this year's seems drastically smaller and prices as always higher than most but with that price comes a lower quality eating experience as the food just doesn't reach the standards of the other restaurants . One place I was really impressed with after a little wander over the little bridge outside Aphrodite was The Blue Gardens. A small place to stay , a little hidden, but truly lovely with really cheap food and drink prices and a lovely pool to enjoy. Look out for Linda and Roy behind the bar. Those kebab meats can be iffy. I had a bad case of food poisoning in Nafplion put me in a delirium for 4 days - I was 18 at time, but I don't think I'd survive it now at 70.😢
Great to watch another of your short videos, Al. Roda is beginning too look like Sadari now…. Over development will kill that place…. And it is all about greed! Stay safe, my friend.
@Paul Bell Actually don't think it is becoming like Sidari to be honest,only 3 or 4 really busy bars,would still say it is more of a,lets just say older generations resort.

Went to roda in 1988, nickos and George's beach bar were great.one of my best holidays and meet a gorgeous girl from blackpool..lorraine. Happy days!
