The pricing is consistent actually. These are better than sacred shards because they have a better chance of getting a legendary and a very restricted pool of champions. But if you’re not a spender in this game the prism shard events are not for you. If you need any of the legendaries or epics from the pool and you’re willing to pay for them then this event gives you the best chance at getting what you’re looking for.
Another hare-brained scheme to make money off a dying game. There are literally a handful of champions that are useful in most situations and they keep releasing new trashy legendary heroes that aren’t worth levelling. Plarium should have fixed the dupe system years ago like people asked, instead they desperately looked for new ways to get people to spend. Game is dying
not gonna defend this event, cause it's terrible. But the 80 prisms for $20 is really just a sacred shard but has a better shot at getting a top tier lego. So it's not really the worst thing they've done.
I did the same but rnjesus had my back and I pulled Korugar. I have like 5 decent legos and Maranix, so it was relieving. Still not worth it to pull them yet. An event would be nice.

This video is proof in the point I typically try to explain to players that spend quite a bit of money, Spending only provides additional chances but does not guarantee anything. I as a player that does not spend to play find myself getting alot luckier than those that do spend.

Prisms are solely made for krakens and that's fine for me. Most of the people see them as too expensive but for someone with 'unlimited' money? Great chance to +4 OP arena champs like Dutchess or Ukko. This could be also an attempt to encourage new players to spending since in the pool even epics are helpful, but i think old spenders would be the majority using prism that's why i think one day they will put void leggos in there with even higher cost and no chance for even one pull if you havent spend
I remember when I started my 2 F2P accounts, about 2,5 yrs ago and I pulled a Uugo when she was fairly new to the game, on 1 of my accts, and she was directly put on top 3 of all epics in the game by several content creators. Joy to the World! =)
Did the updated Prism buy that dropped today got 2 Mordecais and a Rector Drath so far. I thought they would count for the daily summon 3 champions but nope, had to burn 10 mystery shards for that, then fed them to Rector Drath for the daily level up task. I will update this comment when I do the remaining 3 shard pulls tomorrow. Update: I pulled 2 Seekers and an Ursula the Mourner with the 3 remaining shards. Thankfully I had none of these champions so it was worth it even though I didn't pull a lego. Thanks for all the hard work you do on your videos to keep us all updated.
I've been trying to get Duchess for years so I'd consider that a win. I didn't spend any money on them because I just knew I would only get epics. My luck with shards is abysmal.
Not sure if any of the other champs were in the pool last time but I know Geomancer was in the previous one. Might be why it wasn’t in this one. Pretty brutal pulls for the cost of getting the shards.

Like, how dare they..but I woke up feeling good for once and decided to make the most of my good feeling, bought for 1 pull, didnt expect anything ofc..but then... lego...Teodore! I was yelling like WHAT?! So for me this one time pull was a happy one..but the way your pull went is how I expected it to go..thank you for your good vibes and tellling about your bro, I lost one of my bro's to..miss him every day.
Personally I think the prism shards is just another way to extend the gap between the whales and the f2p and low spenders. I’m an incredibly low spender having spent £50 since I started playing in December 2021 on 3 gem packs and a forge pass. I have half the legos available but a Nekmo or Duchess would be huge for me! As it is I won’t be getting to attempt a single pull because after the last couple of fusions and opportunities to get some good blessings on champs I am tapped for resources. The free prism frags available are sat behind an obscene requirement only accessible to real spenders or people that haven’t been going all in for some of the other things available recently! On a more positive spin… love the content Ash! Thanks for these videos, justifies my choice not to push for a prism pull

Would it be possible to have a video that goes over some of the bosses such as Hydra? I always see in videos that certain champs are good for certain bosses but I don’t understand the why. I can’t even make a dent on Hydra and I don’t know what’s the best way to approach it

I have 1 key all difficulties, all rotations, full auto hydra team that does over 150M on Normal and Hard and 100M on Brutal and I don't really know about NM since I just stop the run after 1 key. The team consists of 1 free legendary, 3 epics, 1 guaranteed legendary and another legendary that can be easily replaced.

This would have been a completely different video, if you filmed it today. The event is beyond trash. The event point requirements, horrible. The number of crystal things available is also horrible. They aren't ever really trying hard to disguise it. Full on PTW. I'll just keep ignoring all this stuff and build the champs I have. They are really cranking up the greed factor, to that point of altering how I need to view the game to enjoy it. On a side note: Oboro is an amazing head tank in Hydra. Oboro does decent dmg but she's used mostly for mischief tanking and some aoe dec def supplementation with her a1. I actually spent a little on this b/c even as far as I am in this game, I still don't have Duchess.... and I still don't. Got Cupidus though who's new and Kantra who I used to buy another Maulie to get a +2. Not the worst but not what I wanted either. I don't mind the idea of these but they need to make them easier to get or let you hoard them until someone you want is available. It's pretty much an event for spenders imo. As a sidenote, I did just 1 key UNM w/ a full auto double Demy team though so my raid day wasn't all bad.
One of my clanmates pulled Duchess which really made me think hard about buying some prism shards and going for her, your video made my decision for me, no way Jose. And the guy who commented below about his buddy spending $1000 and getting 20 epics....that's got to be the worst feeling, like accidentally dropping $1000 cash into a fire. These few first events are tests. Expensive and of little return proportionally, but Plarium will assess the KPIs, US players will form, so... PS. Korugar is a monster!! Got me at FW.21 at lvl.50, no masteries no books. He's a beast

my clan was noticing that the chard droprates in the clan boss were off last two weeks or so. Any reports if the drop rate changed? would be consistent with raid's attempt to have people buy chards
It's been a WHILE since I got any shards and the only ones I get are always blue, with the exception of one single void. Mostly I'm getting nothing but gear I don't want or need bc it usually sucks, and !!POTIONS!!, oh yay, potions, exactly what I work so hard and put all my time in for, getting potions from CB.🙄🙄🙄

First single $20.00 purchases I did that twice. 1st pull Ursula the mourner. 2nd Uuga…… then I said well he’ll this going great! 2 of the best rezzers in the game, I bought the $60.00 package. I got DRENG. Next I got some other epic Sepelcura? Then PINTHROP! I couldn’t believe my eyes.

Im with ya on that 75% debuff stat. Altan, possible the worst attack down A1 in the game. He was my only dependable attack down for CB with a CA team for 3 years (still no maneaters after 4 years+ of playing). I would swear on your mother that the real percentage for any champ with a 75% chance, is 10%.... seriously.
I’m spent on this… I bought the the four summons… I was the %90.. so I’m disappointed obviously…it’s odd how many were available..considering the OP crew….I didn’t want any epics..but was actually hoping for a dupe..or a new Lego..holy Teodor…but I can’t hate to much…but pushing it to 80 then offering like 40 is a total loss….dummies like me that caught that ridiculous flash offer with 50 shard points..Lego books 4 and 5 star chickens.. energy and I can’t remeber…then the 400 shard pack …the same money through the straight route….to get four epic dupes…which makes sense..I was just unlucky in my stupidity. I tried this too with a smaller amount of shards through a limited offer, maybe I will be lucky this time... :D Well, sort of. No legendary ofc, but pulled Magnarr, Ursala, Dhukk and Endalia. I'm still wondering if it was worth Magnarr and Ursala. These two are new and nice addition to my account. I already own Dhukk for free and I like him very much... Endalia is also new, although she isn't a big deal according to her kit. Proved once again that lucky pulls are so rare that it is not worth investing any money in it. 😅
The deals last time were way more reasonable, this had potential to be one of Raid Shadow Legend's moment but they upped the prices way too much and made the Prism shards unfarmable. Had they kept the regular prices and maybe had it set to the 20 to summon they had the opportunity to make a butt ton of money off of these Prism Shards this time around but they caused their own issues here with greed.
Sad you didnt pull Korugar or Sniktrak! i'm very far down from your lvl but got both of them and THEY are my very favorit! was even lucky to get 5* soul on Sniktrak, made that guy undestroyable Hope you'll get them soon to show us their real potential :)
Help me with the math. it cost 80 to pull ONE shard, you can “earn” only 60 crystals….. not only that 40 of them crystals are behind 4600 in summon rush. I just wanted to earn 1 and can’t even do that.
Hi, can you make a guide on Elder Skaarg? Pulled him recently and he SMACKS. Destroys Pythions, Mighy Ukkos, Mythralas - at least in high G5 (im lvl 79 currently so not even in the end game and he rolls many teams)
I regret going full kraken mode. All I wanted was a Duchess and maybe Ukko. I got 3x Dreng, 2x Tatura, 2x Teodor, Pinthroy, Kantra and a dupe for Sniktraak and Nekmo.
Archbishop is a BEAST in hydra. He is my main block buff champ for my main team. My second team has Uugo for block buff. He is also very good to shield and heal the team. I use him in relentless set to have his juicy abilities more often.

RAID does a lot of things better than Summoner's War, but this is one thing SW absolutely does way better. Their version of Prism Shards are Summoning Stones, and they have a rotation EVERY week of targetted monsters (champions), and you can hold off until you have a summoning pool you want. They don't "get used" when the event ends. It really helps when you have SOOOO many champions. They have well over 1000, so if you want a specific champ, the odds are very low. The summoning stones makes that way better. Not a fan of this from Plarium.
Ash... I was about to ask you to do this video, but I discarded it. I wasted the same amount just to get 6 Doompriest 2 Deacon Armstrong. They have no dupe detection. Only if you don't have any of those Champs.... then only spend 2.
i got kurugar recently and wanted to build him but here comes wukong and i dont have many books. but he must be super strong especially with my def based nukers.
I remember when gaming was simple buy the disc rip-off the packaging and load her up. Now they have made it to where you are playing games that they make heros / champions weaker then basically make you pay for the downgrades basically
I whaled on this event. But luckily had some good RNG. I ended with a korogar, sniktrak, a dupe kantra and a dupe dutchess. I would’ve traded at least 3 of them for a cupidus to pair with my venus.
It would be more helpful if, instead of reading all the champion abilities (which we can read for ourselves), maybe give places in the game where they excel and who they might team up with to really get the most out of them.

As of right now you don't even earn enough prism shards for One summon. After this event, I'm not gonna participate in any other prism shard events.

Spent $100 myself on them. Farmed for the fifth pull. Out of 5 prisms, pulled Rector Drath, Oboro, Magnar, Dutchess Lilitu, and Fenax.

Would it be possible to have a video that goes over some of the bosses such as Hydra? I always see in videos that certain champs are good for certain bosses but I don’t understand the why. I can’t even make a dent on Hydra and I don’t know what’s the best way to approach it

@@mlj1111 you're just bad at the game... I'm f2p. I have 1 key all difficulties, all rotations, full auto hydra team that does over 150M on Normal and Hard and 100M on Brutal and I don't really know about NM since I just stop the run after 1 key. The team consists of 1 free legendary, 3 epics, 1 guaranteed legendary and another legendary that can be easily replaced.

The event is beyond trash. The event point requirements, horrible. The number of crystal things available is also horrible.
They aren't ever really trying hard to disguise it. Full on PTW.
I'll just keep ignoring all this stuff and build the champs I have. They are really cranking up the greed factor, to that point of altering how I need to view the game to enjoy it.
On a side note: Oboro is an amazing head tank in Hydra.

Oboro does decent dmg but she's used mostly for mischief tanking and some aoe dec def supplementation with her a1. I actually spent a little on this b/c even as far as I am in this game, I still don't have Duchess.... and I still don't. Got Cupidus though who's new and Kantra who I used to buy another Maulie to get a +2. Not the worst but not what I wanted either. I don't mind the idea of these but they need to make them easier to get or let you hoard them until someone you want is available. It's pretty much an event for spenders imo. As a sidenote, I did just 1 key UNM w/ a full auto double Demy team though so my raid day wasn't all bad.

One of my clanmates pulled Duchess which really made me think hard about buying some prism shards and going for her, your video made my decision for me, no way Jose. And the guy who commented below about his buddy spending $1000 and getting 20 epics....that's got to be the worst feeling, like accidentally dropping $1000 cash into a fire. my clan was noticing that the chard droprates in the clan boss were off last two weeks or so. Any reports if the drop rate changed? would be consistent with raid's attempt to have people buy chards

Mostly I'm getting nothing but gear I don't want or need bc it usually sucks, and !!POTIONS!!, oh yay, potions, exactly what I work so hard and put all my time in for, getting potions from CB.🙄🙄🙄

Im with ya on that 75% debuff stat. Altan, possible the worst attack down A1 in the game. He was my only dependable attack down for CB with a CA team for 3 years (still no maneaters after 4 years+ of playing). I would swear on your mother that the real percentage for any champ with a 75% chance, is 10%.... seriously.
I’m spent on this… I bought the the four summons… I was the %90.. so I’m disappointed obviously…it’s odd how many were available..considering the OP crew….I didn’t want any epics..but was actually hoping for a dupe..or a new Lego..holy Teodor…but I can’t hate to much…but pushing it to 80 then offering like 40 is a total loss….dummies like me that caught that ridiculous flash offer with 50 shard points..Lego books 4 and 5 star chickens.. energy and I can’t remeber…then the 400 shard pack …the same money through the straight route….to get four epic dupes…which makes sense..I was just unlucky in my stupidity. But to bait everyone…with Taras and Mirichkao…afterwards..I see something to close to government at work here..I guess my dollars stop now…Plarium…you should fix this

I tried this too with a smaller amount of shards through a limited offer, maybe I will be lucky this time... :D Well, sort of. No legendary ofc, but pulled Magnarr, Ursala, Dhukk and Endalia. I'm still wondering if it was worth Magnarr and Ursala. These two are new and nice addition to my account. I already own Dhukk for free and I like him very much... Endalia is also new, although she isn't a big deal according to her kit.
Proved once again that lucky pulls are so rare that it is not worth investing any money in it. 😅

The deals last time were way more reasonable, this had potential to be one of Raid Shadow Legend's moment but they upped the prices way too much and made the Prism shards unfarmable. Had they kept the regular prices and maybe had it set to the 20 to summon they had the opportunity to make a butt ton of money off of these Prism Shards this time around but they caused their own issues here with greed.

Can confirm on Mollie, put her in over Archbishop, and my nightmare hydra went to 60 mil from 40 min
Help me with the math. it cost 80 to pull ONE shard, you can “earn” only 60 crystals….. not only that 40 of them crystals are behind 4600 in summon rush. I just wanted to earn 1 and can’t even do that.

I regret going full kraken mode. All I wanted was a Duchess and maybe Ukko. I got 3x Dreng, 2x Tatura, 2x Teodor, Pinthroy, Kantra and a dupe for Sniktraak and Nekmo.
Archbishop is a BEAST in hydra. He is my main block buff champ for my main team. My second team has Uugo for block buff. He is also very good to shield and heal the team. I use him in relentless set to have his juicy abilities more often.

RAID does a lot of things better than Summoner's War, but this is one thing SW absolutely does way better. Their version of Prism Shards are Summoning Stones, and they have a rotation EVERY week of targetted monsters (champions), and you can hold off until you have a summoning pool you want. They don't "get used" when the event ends. It really helps when you have SOOOO many champions. They have well over 1000, so if you want a specific champ, the odds are very low. The summoning stones makes that way better. Not a fan of this from Plarium.
Ash... I was about to ask you to do this video, but I discarded it. I wasted the same amount just to get 6 Doompriest 2 Deacon Armstrong. They have no dupe detection. Only if you don't have any of those Champs.... then only spend 2.

I remember when gaming was simple buy the disc rip-off the packaging and load her up. Now they have made it to where you are playing games that they make heros / champions weaker then basically make you pay for the downgrades basically
I whaled on this event. But luckily had some good RNG.
I ended with a korogar, sniktrak, a dupe kantra and a dupe dutchess. I would’ve traded at least 3 of them for a cupidus to pair with my venus.

It would be more helpful if, instead of reading all the champion abilities (which we can read for ourselves), maybe give places in the game where they excel and who they might team up with to really get the most out of them.
