Had a 73 DT 250 bought new.one of my favorite bikes.thanks ken.
I have a 74 dt250 enduro I've been restoring for over a yr slowly. Should be done this month. Love seeing these classics.
First bike I ever rode and got on. I was 7 it was a Green. Was my cousin's. Learned on that bike, and waited to get my own at age 10. THANKYOU, Bri. For teaching me how to ride. Your mother is doing Good. 👍.
What an incredible bike it must be so fun to have these classic machines come through your company.
500 guy I ride with. Always told me he raced Barstow to Vegas in 1970 on a DT-1. Never seen one in this condition.
Awesome classic bike. Thanks for sharing.
Had and 82 dt 80 (yellow ) got it when I was 10 years old road it on my grandparents farm daylight till dark for years and they were not always the easiest if miles put on a bike and the damn thing was bullet proof ....put one set brakes ...one set tires ...and one clutch cable ....and I road wheels off it until I was 16 years old ....and then gave it to my younger cousin and she did the same for six more years and was pulled in the barn running as good as day one ....
What a beautiful old survivor.
That's awsome I want to come to your museum one day! Have a great day!
My Dad bought a 71 dt 250. For riding enduro, sold immediately and get a ossa pioneer 250.
I bet that there's not many people that ever heard of Ossa. You about would have to be 50 or 60 yrs old to remember them, which I am.I remember a guy that used to race them in Motocross back in the 70's.His was Pauly Miller, saw him win quiet a few races against Honda's,Suzuki's and Yamaha's in the early to mid 70's.He was that good.
That thing is a beast! Hearing the sound brings back so many memories of my first bike, it was a yellow 1970 DT 100🔥🤙🇦🇺
I had a 1976 Yamaha DT 400,it was yellow and white.I used to ride it work after High School.Rode it more off road than I did on pavement.Broke both rear shocks and blowed the motor while off road riding.Had the motor bored out and replaced the rear shocks with better than stock.
Sweet bike took my DMV test on a 69 dt1
It puts a smile on my face to see that, after riding thousands of motorcycles, you still seem to enjoy riding around on an old bike like that so much. It reminds me of the time that i was a kid and just filled my days riding my moped next to the house, up and down my parent´s garden. I couldn´t drive on the road because i didn´t have a driving licence yet. the neighbours must have really liked me...
Dad had a 1978 Yamaha DT 125..2 stroke...all road eqpt taken off...strictly used for dirt. Metal tank. Green with black and white. I wish he would have never sold that dirtbike. 1978 I was 5. First motorcycle I road on period, and it was a 2 stroke. My Dad toyed with that bike like you do. Always loved the powerbands such a young kid. This is where my love of two strokes comes from. Been a love affair ever since.
THE original production off road bike.
Beautiful specimen guys 👍👍older than I am at 45 years old... they were dinosaurs when I started riding in the 80s and 90s
My first bike I ever bought and paid for was a DT400. Brute of a thing. It was yellow. It was dangerous! Sweet. Cheers from downunder! 👍🏻
Haha.. I just bought one from Kenny a few months ago.. Fun as hell, and everyone looks at you when you're riding it.. ! 🏁🇺🇸🏁
2 - Stroke Racer - thats awesome! I wish I still had mine! I burnt a hole in the top of the piston, it still ran mind you with a push start, then I put the motor in a buggy! Bloody brilliant! Cheers mate! 👍🏻
@@PeterPatterson-vt2cx haha.. Yes, I remember you telling that buggy story on an earlier comment section.. Cheers to you, brother.. ✌🇺🇸✌
2 - Stroke Racer - yes! Thank you mate, may you live long and prosper! 👍🏻

I love this! You will not find a better one, maybe ever- so respect!
Just missing a couple things - no big deal- most ppl will never see it- and You guys already know what they are. Hell of a job guys! Love it
Very Rare bike.... One of the best parts of this video was watching another lucky SOB load up his mint condition KE 100 in his pickup truck in the background.. We ALL know that feeling... 🏁🇺🇸🏁
Nice Yamaha! Also a nice red e39 in the background!
Nice indeed, hellrot is the best color for old beemer, but i think that is e36.
Awesome find!
I agree what a gem. Yamahas always were great ! I had a 88 warrior. Never let me down either. My older brothers friend had same bike. 👍👍
Absolute beauty guys what a classic. They just don't make them look that sexy anymore.
That's a keeper! Wow...
Amazing find! Even has the title wow
😬✌️🇺🇸
That is one wicked looking 👌 bike.
I had an 1976 I think that was the year Yamaha DT 1 400 2 stroke.Rode it to my part that job while in High School.Broke both the rear shocks jumping in while off road riding and blowed the motor.Had the motor bored out and fixed, plus replaced the rear shocks with better than stock. That Bike would wheelie like hell on a hard pack road and would run 80mph.
Someone took care of tht beauty
Kewl beans haven’t seen this for decades thanks Kaplan man 😎🇺🇸✌🏽
She is wicked pretty!
I remember wishing I had one when I saw them new
I bought one new in 68’ I’ve owed 30 bikes in my life…I’m 72…one of my favorites!!!!
My dad had one of these, we were poor so I had to ride this thing when I was 10 because my 80 broke, it was a boat anchor, but made very strong for my size having had pushed it home many times
Love the different size gauges, that looks cool!
Love your vids
When these things came out, no wonder the Brit bike industry folded !
