MSD:- Moisture Sensitive Device,
are components that are packaged within plastic that are sensitive to damage related to atmospheric humidity atmospheric humidity.
MSL:- Moisture Sensitivity level
The Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) indicates the floor life of the component, its storage conditions, and handling precautions after the original container has been opened.
HIC:- Humidity Indicator Card,
A card on which a moisture-sensitive chemical is printed such that it will change color when the indicated humidity is exceeded.
Desiccant, Silica Gel
MBB- Moisture barrier bag
Floor Life- the time which is allowed for a component to be in an open condition before getting soldered on the PCB.
