About that whole bubble idea... How would you breathe inside the bubble? It seems to me that to achieve protection from spreading the disease, you'd need to close off the bubble, but if you close off the bubble, you'll eventually suffocate. Are there going to be bubble refueling stations? How will one stay hydrated within the bubble? Will there be some sort of special booze sprayer that attaches to the bubble to serve drinks by squirting them straight down people's gullets? Where does the pee go? Like do we deflate to go into the bathroom, or is it just a really gross pouch splashing around somewhere inside the bubble? God forbid a number two. I think this is all just preparing us to go to space. To be a spacefaring civilization. In space... space... space... space... space...
Same I wast too sure about this song but I do like it a lot. I do also think it’s definitely a progression from the first album and doesn’t fit that “samey” sound as some of the songs on MMMN and the Ep
Not everything needs to "evolve" dramatically. They have a good sound and a unique aesthetic. Plenty of bands keep doing music that sounds like what they've already done and producing solid work. But I also think the new song does demonstrate some growth, and I don't want their work to change so much that they don't sound like the same band. Hopefully, Pale Waves will stay true to their original sound and experiment with things like song arrangement and timing and instrumentals instead of going for different tones and vibes.
