do me a favor KC make sure that there is never another Royal that ever wears his brilliant 13 Sal embodies so much of what I love about this game and I could not be more impressed BTW I like the new unifroms, but please font ditch the golden number ones! they're just so perfect, you're THE ROYALS for crying out loud
I've watched every game this year, and have got to say - this is an extremely fun and exciting team, and they play very well together. Each player fills a role, and it all comes together to make a competitive group of guys. It reminds me a lot of 2013-2015 and I really hope we can make one or 2 more runs at the World Series before Salvy heads out. We can do it - Pérez, Bobby Witt, Pasquantino, Fermin, Lugo, Ragans, Singer - with Jac Caglianone set to come up sometime in the next 2 years.. oh, and we WOULD HAVE HAD MASON MILLER if he didn't go and break his hand right before we were set to trade for him..... we would have had the best and hardest throwing closer in the league, the most complete player in the league, and left handed Aaron Judge, all on the same team. On top of the legendary Salvy AND miniature Salvy in Fermin, the mythical Pasquatch, and Bo Jackson's protégé in Massey.
Perez is a monster right now Sal has always been one of the most athletic players in the MLB but the reason he refrained from focusing his statline on his stick was because homers can only do so much to win games, hence why he had been more defence focused and spent time drawing speific plays against each hitter a line-up had, that way the other guys wouldn't score more than they could, he was an architecht in this regard, and I imagine he'd be a brilliant manager after he's finished playing the sport, the only man who has ever done this better than Sal was Brooks Robinson. But since The Royals are less capable of winning, Sal probably saw an opportunity to refocus his efforts, giving his efforts on the defensive side a backseat to conserve enough power to hit like a man possessed, this year he tied Vladimir Guerrero Junior for the MLB lead in Home Runs with 48, breaking the prior single-season record for catchers set by the legendary Johnny Bench needless to say he's a born leader, my favorite catcher in the sport's history, one of my favorite baseball players ever, and worthy of a hall of fame plaque and never seeing another Royal wear his 13
JERAMI AKINS first off, he’s not the best catcher in the league, second off, his offensive value is only declining as he’s getting older. That’s why you trade him and Whit to kickstart this rebuild.
@@alex36burbidge Salvy is the best catcher in the league. He won silver slugger and gold glove this year... The only catcher this year to win both. Hands down the best.
This was a good one!
gae

I will cry when salvy leaves
Same
But he probably won’t leave for a while
ugh salvy is hurt
Salvy has a franchise tag so he will most likely stay with the royals his entire career
@@lucaswaterworth2839 now he has vision problems
Hope we have more moments like that later in our rebuilding stage.
Would 47 home runs by salvy be ok?
Bobby Witt had a walk off grand slam, and Melendez had a pinch hit walk off 3 run homer, both this year
Big salvy

Trade Salvy, stupid autocorrect
why would you trade the best catcher in the league. we have him under contract for a few years for cheap.
