What's with all the hate on Mark? He still sounds kick ass, many people seem to forget that this song was released 25 years ago. Voices change over the years. But Mark still sounds great.
Mostly because I think people don’t get that he was huge during the sort of hair band glam movement, but Mark has always has a bluesy sort of AC/DC vibe and that vocalization is hard to do at any age, in any live venue, especially acoustic.
listen yall,Ive been doin this shit for 25 years now, mark slaughter is the most under rated vocalist around,my voice got old too,I'm sorry but he is still awesome, screw em all mark you still rock,
I too have been doing this for 25 years plus. Endless club tours, small sodt seat theaters, arena's and ALL in between. My point?? Mark Slaughter is one bad Motherfucker of a singer. Dare I cite Coverdale or a dozen others who were once BEYOND amazing and NOW sing a tenth of what they once did. At least he gives it all and has a passion for what he does.
I met the original Slaughter lineup in my hometown Columbus Ohio at the Alrosa Villa 1996 same place where Dimebag Darrell was killed I was talking to Dana about my friend Joey C.Jones from Sweet Savage he had me cracking up about Joey. Dana would remember me if he saw this.. but Slaughter is a great Live! Band now I live pigeon Forge Tennessee I hope to see them play again thank you Mark for all the great Muzik u put out when I hear Slaughter it takes me bak in time..fan 4life2021
It's called jealousy. October 2000, Santa Ana, CA After the concert I was First person to meet Mark. He was so friendly and so nice. Dana was so talkative and nice to. He made me feel so Special.
25 years have come and gone people. Of course Mark doesn't sound quite the same as 1990. I'm not a singer and I don't sound the same as a quarter of a century ago! But, this IS his best voice that I've heard recently. Great job guys!
Joe Guetzloff I saw slaughter in early june and I disagree with you..Mark hit the notes perfect several times I was floored he could hit the high notes and hold them and he did very much so
Mark still sings almost the same. But why the hate? in his 40s here and he still is hitting a high note. Not many singers can still do it. Michael Sweet, Mark Slaughter, etc. to name a few still have it!
Anyone criticizing has probably never thought of 2 things: 1. Mark has sang this song thousands of times, and its a tremendous strain on the vocal chords. Its amazing he sounds this good, still. 2. They don't know music and have never sang before. So suck on it. Lol.
Oh I Love So Much .... My Mama" Fly to the Angels " ( This Song is Forever in our hearts) Last wednesday my mama go to the Angels🧚🏼♀️🧚🏼♀️🧚🏼♀️🧚♂️🧚♂️🧚♂️ 💫Slaughter💫 2020
He still sounds great he's just changing the song around . But if you listen real close at times you can capture it. So to all the haters here be a true fan.
Very cool acoustic version. This song is one of those songs that strikes you with so much emotional depth and has that same deep feeling no matter how many years later you listen to it. Mark's voice in this lower register sounds alot to me like Tommy Bolin actually. Especially for this style of song, which Tommy was a genius at (look up the song Spanish Lover), or Savannah Woman, Sweet Burgundy also by Tommy. I'm sure Mark could sing Tommy's songs very well. Although I think when he was younger he sounded more like Robert Plant from Led Zep.
He still has his voice. He was rusty at first .The more he sings the better he gets. He just changes around the songs. Most people want it the old way. Close your eyes and really listen to his singing. he's still got it.
man mark and the guys sound better live thats insane!! the only other band I've seen in person that could sound as good live was "stone temple pilots".
I can name a few that really need to hang it up and depend upon touring for an income, understandably, but there's gonna' come a point when the fans have had enough: Vince Neil... Don Dokken... Stephen Pearcy... UGH! Just horrible. :(
Yes like most artist Mark's voice has taken a beating over the years. I just wish he would change his songs up a lil, to accomodate the change. IE Steelheart lead singer Miljenko Matijevic that change the style of some of their biggest songs. The new version of 'Never let you go' (angel eyes), is awesome.
His voice is still good guys . If you really listen. When he first starts out ,really listen. It's the band members that are messing it up. The more practice he gets the better he gets. When he sings alone he's much better. AND don't forget he had throat surgery if I'm not mistaken . So stay cool.
What happened to Mark Slaughter had to be expected. The glam metal style of singing will eventually wear down the vocal chords and by the time they get older they won't sing about half of what they could sing before.
you do realize this man has had many surgeries on his voice to keep it over a thirty year span so no fucking complaining here man !!!! you try singing for thirty years and see what happens to your voice, just enjoy the music and the person who made it happen!!!
Ughhh I always loved Mark!!! He sounds great even after all these years!! ❤❤❤
Fukin Love this band!!!! My little Sister passed away in 2015 n this Song reminds me of her so much!❤ 🙏 RIP
Just as beautiful as the first time I heard this on MTV! I WANT MY MTV!!!
Mark has superhuman range and a hypnotic quality that you can't stop listening to. Still kickin ass guys. Always loved that song. Powerful
What's with all the hate on Mark? He still sounds kick ass, many people seem to forget that this song was released 25 years ago. Voices change over the years. But Mark still sounds great.
Right, I expected Bonn Scot or Joe Cocker. Only wish I looked that good, and I could never sing!
Mostly because I think people don’t get that he was huge during the sort of hair band glam movement, but Mark has always has a bluesy sort of AC/DC vibe and that vocalization is hard to do at any age, in any live venue, especially acoustic.
like wtf man right? mark is awesome. he loves what he does and it shows.
I met Mark at a local store and he was cool. Just like an average guy.
Seen them in 91 with Winger and Kiss greatest concert I've ever been to. Good friends and great time.
Sounds freaking good to me great job Mark🎶👍🏻👍🏻

i have fallen back in love with Mark Slaughter... OMG its been years and he looks GREAT and sounds wonderful... Rock ON
I played this song for my wife's memorial
He lives such a clean lifestyle and it shows in how he looks and how he sounds. Love Mark!

Most of the people criticizing Mark probably can't sing a note. He is still awesome!
Vicky Rice ,you are right !!!! They are all fuckin posers....
Mark still sings almost the same. But why the hate? in his 40s here and he still is hitting a high note. Not many singers can still do it. Michael Sweet, Mark Slaughter, etc. to name a few still have it!
Still got it from 1993 when I saw them in concert.
Damn Mark sounds really good on this one! Hope his voice is still serving him well.
Mark , Dee Snider and Sebastian Bach still rock
One of my all-time favorite songs in the whole wide world, Thank you SO Much for sharing! xoxo :-) Oh, and your voice still sounds awesome to me....
perfect man, perfect voice
Makes my spine just a SHIVER! No other music stirs the soul as much as a good ol' fashioned ROCK ballad! (good looks and talent don't hurt neither!)
❤ awesome 💯 😎 I love hearing this song 💕💕

His voice sounds pretty Strong to me,Rock on Slaughter. And,don't forget to bring your daughter
He still sounds great he's just changing the song around . But if you listen real close at times you can capture it. So to all the haters here be a true fan.
I think Mark sounds great here! I wish I could sing like that and his voice is shot? Ha!

I have seen slaughter and all i can say is that they still rock love this band
man mark and the guys sound better live thats insane!! the only other band I've seen in person that could sound as good live was "stone temple pilots".
he sounds way better then most of those 80's rockers. they all lose the top register..well..most of them anyway...
+jaye1701 Jani Lane still had his awesome voice from back in the day....until he passed away.... Sebastian Bach is still goin' strong as well!!
so is Klaus Meine
Tommy Shaw still sounds like he always did..
I can name a few that really need to hang it up and depend upon touring for an income, understandably, but there's gonna' come a point when the fans have had enough: Vince Neil... Don Dokken... Stephen Pearcy... UGH! Just horrible. :(
Awesome ❤
Age catches us all. This dude was simply awesome in his youth. I applaud him for his effort, but he can't run as fast at 45 that he did at 25.
These guys never seem to get the idea that when you hurt your voice you must rest it and rehab it. Don Dokken's pipes are busted too...
Keepin' Rock Alive!!
Simply the best!
Интересная. Группа. Вокал. Отпад. 🎸🎶🎼‼️👍
mark

fantastic
What year was this he looks good and sounds pretty good?
"Pretty good"?? Holly Hannah- perhaps you have been listening only to divine angels (?) His voice is absolutely AMAZING!
Fly Brianna rattliff R .I.p Brianna 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
great
Blas, sweetie, when was this recorded? Mark sounded great here.
@Baldmelon It has to be like in early 2000's cus Blas is in the band.
gets more vocally passionate in the later half of the song. Almost good as the video.
Overall Mark did good for his age..wanna hear a truly blown voice? Steven Pearcy from Ratts voice is a crispy critter.
How recent is this? Most videos that have surfaced as of late, his voice sounds fried.
come on, he's not that bad hear. Obviously can't go AS high as before but he can still do most of this song.
whats up mark's voice
Scream it out!!!
Hi brother sister good day
Mark Slaughter is SO HOT.
cool
see mark i always been in love with you 30 years the chick below says she just now fallin back in love no no let me hear you say yeah
he still has a pretty decent voice
"Pretty decent"? OMG! That's like saying Steve Vai "plays an OK guitar",
magkmukha n tyo angel

John Lamarche I think you are getting him mixed up with Tom Kiefer of Cinderella
yup, his upper range flew to the angels all right. him and many other rock stars. sad.
The downside of the metal style of singing: gradual loss of vocal register
Ariel Cardona Not if you use the right technique, doesnt matter what genre you sing.
+Philip Otterud mark sounds for 51yrs young if you're not a real fan don't get on here criticize
I didnt criticize anything.
pick a lower key to sing in now?????
