Enjoyed this immensely… stunning scenery and have to say that the tent looks fantastic… however I did feel your pain… “Bollocks” summed it up beautifully!!! 👍🤣
Haha thank you. I was absolutely devistated. The kids were throwing bolders trying to dam the stream. Ruining the natural landscape. They were horrendous. The adults were smashing pallets up for an hour with a hammer to light a 6ft high bonfire.
Hi Matt I've done this recently you don't need to remove the radiator just remove the 2 tank mounting rubbers from the frame and you will find a dent in both frame tubes allowing the removal of the cam cover. Still a pain in the butt job but a little less hassle. Makes it easier to refit and keep the cover gasket in place when reassembling. Well done for producing another really good video. I agree with you on the mileage once the first check and adjustments are done they should be fine for a considerable time. I've been riding for 62 years and I think this is my favourite bike it does everything I need it to do. Keep up the good work best wishes Andy.
Good day to you! I am a HONDA Cross Cub senior rider from Japan. Enjoying camping and touring. This is so nice adventure video! Awesome! I leave Have a nice day my friend!
My favourite campsite. It's beautiful ...the owls and bats on a night and sometimes a falcon.. torch is a must though ...no lights!!; And to say it's basic is an understatement but it's worth it....oh and a short walk to the the village to lister arms is a deffo.
I enjoyed every second of this video, thanks so much for making the time to put it altogether. It did look perfect,,,,, until the end.......''Bollocks'' sums up my feelings as well and I wasn't even there! Moving onto part 2 now, thanks again. Also the bottom of your description sums up utter chaos entirely! from a church community group you'd expect a bit of Kumbaya my lord, not Kum lets ruin all the peace on earth
Had my Tuareg serviced at Teasdale on Saturday, and I wanted to try it for camping, so I headed for Gordale Scar. Had the amusing tete-a-tete with the farmer whilst he decided whether to let me stay. A lot busier than when you went (weather!) and I ended up camping almost on the same spot you did. Thanks for the video. Amazing place. On my way out, the (by now friendly) farmer said "did you learn about this place on RUclips?" I said yeah, he said he's had loads of bikers come who saw it on RUclips. Probably this video... :)
What a beautiful spot! The UK has such a beautiful landscape that we often forget. Great tent too. Black out needs to be my next tent goal. I've subscribed, so I look forward to watching more of your adventures. I did feel your pain at the kids. I was a Londoner 13 and camping for the first time. Thankfully, it wasn't a public site. Ride safe, Lady J Rider
@Two Wheel Trips I'll be sure to check them out. I can't bare a mask but a dark tent would be a game changer. Especially in places with limited darkness (the Highlands etc). Ride safe, Lady J Rider
Felt your pain when I saw that lot had turned up. I did fancy camping there not so sure now. Hence why I always go when the little darlings are in school. You had a great set up by the way. ATB Steve 😀
Hiya, I’ve just subscribed Every time I watch one of your videos you seem to have new tent. How many have you got? I’m currently using a Slumit Cub ll, which can erect in 1 min or so
Hi thanks for that. I think Cory’s tent is a cub 2 he rates it. I usually sell the odd tent so don’t accumulate that many. Like to chop and change personally and also for mixed content.
REDCAMP Mini Spirit Burner, Ultralight Portable Alcohol Stove for Backpacking Hiking Outdoor, Small Lightweight Camping Stove for BBQ Cooking Picnic, Black amzn.eu/d/a7zkBSM I used original Trangia burners in them though. I now have different set up.
Lovely site...I feel your pain also, you go for peace and tranquillity...!!??. plans to buy a bike and use my lightweight camping set up I've had for too long without use, we bought a campervan...!
What a beautiful location to camp and have a nice cook up, shame the tranquillity got broken! Love the drone footage. Notice the microphone peaked out at speed, can highly recommend the Hamo VOIP Laptop microphone. Enjoyed the vid
Great vid, it’s beautiful around there isn’t it! Can I suggest moving your mic a little further from your nose/mouth it’s a bit breathy, not complaining, just some hopefully useful feedback. We have the same luck, find a secluded spot and then a coach load turn up 😩
And yes sorry. It's an amazing area. I find that part of the Yorkshire dales totally unique in its craggy landscape to the rest of the UK. It's great how all the buildings walls etc all built with the same local stone and all blend in. I love it round there.

Hi thanks for that. You're right. I've subsequently changed the mic on the next videos.
Love the tent , what sort is it ? I've stopped at Gordale campsite and it blew a gale , still enjoyed it though.
Hi, thanks for the comments. I explain all about the tent and give the name in the video. In case you missed it it’s the Khyam Nimbus.
Have you tested the tent in heavy rain? I have a cheap copy and it is rally not keeping me dry 🤔
@@anneligustafsson16 hi yes been fully tested in wind and rain. Great results. Pity you can’t but then anymore👍🏽

Haha glad you enjoyed them. Thank you very much.
I only live in shields, clicked this just expecting a ride in the dales then in that first bit i'm like hang on, are you in fuckin jarra? 😂😂
Welcome along. Shields lad here too❤️

Can I ask how your fuel bottle is attached to the pannier? TIA
Just carried on watching and your using it for cooking! So I'm assuming it's a water bottle! Lol..

I’m sure those kids were pissed off finding they were sharing their campsite with a miserable old git as well.
I didn't destroy the campsite. Read the description👍
