go with the high impact colors of the '70s like sublime green with black or white roof...or hemi orange or bright yellow...my uncle had a lifted black and orange one when i was younger...looked bad ass!!
I think a well worn patina look would be stellar. The painted body you bought will be nice and shiny, especially with the chrome. An old, worn look would be a great contrast.
So looking forward to seeing this series! I have a TRX-4 Sport & I've been think of building this kit. As for that body, I say go with a metallic blue or ford blue for the main body with a white rear top, a great classic bronco look!

I can't wait to see your build series of the Bronco!!! I've had mine for about 2 months now. I bought the RTR, charger and battery for $550 and I've probably spent another $500 in accessories. I'm leary about doing the lift kit though, I'm told it makes them extremely top heavy. Sorry for rambling on. I hope you enjoy your Bronco as much as I enjoy mine. Growing up in the 70/80's, the Broncos weren't ever much to look at flashy wise. They were plain solid color top & bottom with a thick white stripe running down the sides. Go plain OJ Simpson white or do an Easy Rider copy? The colors they have on the box is about as flashy as they got back then. lol
Go with a deep, royal blue with metallic flake for the clear Bronco body. You may have to do a clear metallic flake spray coating and then the blue. At any rate, in the bright sunlight outside, it will really pop!
Looking forward to your build. I built mine in a day and added a Jeep body. Going to add a Scout body when I can get one. I’m interested in how the lift kit does.
I think a two tone paint job would look cool. But one question, did you get both the long to short and short to long chassis kits? Just that you won't need the long to short as the kit is the short wheelbase.
Never been a fan of Traxxas but I got to give respect to them for offering a kit. Hopefully the will start offering more kits!

I would go total 70's on the paint and do an orange starburst. Would look killer.

You kill it! The performance of the 2.2 will kill this build. The lower the stance the better!!!!!!!!
It's not really a scale crawler build, not looking for performance here. The Sport shown is used more for crawling.

I think a Red, White, and Blue paint job would be cool!
If you wanted it to look really cool, a flat back paint job with a silver roof or pin stripe with red accents

Black & silver with red pin strip down the side just like they came from Ford. Have fun.
