    14:31 Tbh this is a lose-lose situation for China. Send either Shi Zhiyong or Li Dayin and risk being rahimogged by a world record clean and jerk, or send Tian Tao and risk a bombout. Only Li Fabin and Liu Huanhua are "safe" in terms of their olympic spots. Also coincidentally (or perhaps not) the two split jerkers 🙃

    Nino's 222kg clean was unreal, a technical masterpiece. But Karlos is just too strong

    • @clintiacuone1703
      @clintiacuone1703 9 месяцев назад +13

      It definitely wasn’t a technical masterpiece if you compare it to the likes of someone like tian in the clean but it was definitely unreal how quick he stood up from it

      @clintiacuone1703 there was ALOT of room between him and the barbell...far from perfect but that's just because it's max effort

      @clintiacuone1703 9 месяцев назад

      @@carpetgymolylifting exactly! Massive gap formed after the knees so he had to shift everything forward and came onto his toes heaps early. I don’t know if he’s cleaned that before but he’s strong as a bull and mad aggressive under the bar so I have no doubt he’ll be right in the mix at Paris if he can snatch in that 175-180 area to keep him close enough to nassar and dayin if he ends up Chinas 3rd male that they send

      @jermaineayivoh8263 9 месяцев назад +7

      Nino seems to be a noticeably stronger cleaner than Nasar, but Nasar seems to be a noticeably stronger split jerker than Nino.

      @clintiacuone1703 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@jermaineayivoh8263I agree! Karlos is one of those lifters who have that raw athleticism and explosive power behind them so as long as he stands up a clean he’s likely to jerk it, Liu huanhua is similar in that aspect too

    Deadlift suits typically add anywhere between 10kg-30kg, depending on how bad your deadlift leverages are. The worse your leverages are the more you get out of it, typically. It gives me 20kg.
