- The ANC has invited all political parties represented in parliament to
form a government of national unity.
The party’s national executive committee met in Ekurhuleni to find the
way forward following last week’s election.
The ANC has been forced to form a coalition government with other
political parties for the next five years after losing its majority.
ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa says the agreement for national unity
would be focused on tackling the country’s most pressing issues.

This might appear to be the best option under the circumstances but either way, the ANC is doomed. Any of the Parties can withdraw at any time with adverse consequences. Anyway, the ANC brought this situation on itself by not listening to the cries of the people who put them into power.

This is not a matter of how the ANC will deal with disruptive parties. The combine government and even if that exclude parties that does not participate in this government of unity, you will abide by the rules which the majority of SA will decide. Joint accountability = joint decision making. One party will not decide and then everybody is held accountable
This is another example of ANC not taking accountability. Not very courageous.
DA must stay outside government at this time. To many cooks in the kitchen will result in no accountability. Not to mention all the corrupt actors this decision rewards.
