- A brand new brilliant level!
The Cathedral, this took me soooo long to complete and looks incredible!
Compared to 'The Chaos' there was a lot more going on in this level.
Also, THANKYOU ALL FOR 500 SUBS! That is an incredible milestone for me and it just shows, how much you guys appreciate what your seeing :)

I just noticed this... With the. Whole theme of this level, i am guessing that this takes place in some sort of war. Notice how abandoned the cathedral is? How ruined it looks? Not to also mention the collective individual streams of light that make it look like a bullet going through? And to the end i can assume that the place is falling apart after a bombardment of explosions. This music totally fits the setting too! Epic refrence
plus, if you play The War, you go across an area that looks like the opening section of The Cathedral.

Raymond Jameson yeah, some of the problem with game like this is that the music isn't sync well
Raymond Jameson You can't trust the music mainly at 60-70 percent, its misleading.
This is probably a good idea, since that the song, unlike the other songs, is composed in a 5/4 time signature. Every bar has 5 beats total, this likely affects the difficulty of the level since we're so used to hearing songs in 4/4 or 8/8. If you can't get used to 5/4, you're probably better off turning down the music all together.

Oh my freaking god!! I actually just beat this level! I only got 1 crown and 4 diamonds but honestly when I first got this level I thought there is absoloutly no way that I can beat it. But somehow I did!!!

For those saying the middle bit doesn't follow the music, I recorded myself with the training line and then played it back to myself to work out the sync.
First off the rhythm of this song is 10-8. It goes -123-123-1234.- What you usually hear is -123-123-1.2.- or -1..-2...-3.4.-
In the middle part it's those triplets that are causing the problem. Sometimes they are mapped as 1 tap, sometimes they are mapped as 2 taps (and without the training line or prior memorization you don't know which). In the music for that part you often hear the tripples as 1 note with a "echo" of another note. But even for the same sound, this gets mapped inconsistently (as 1 tap or 2) by the level.
Edit: you also have inconsistency between when you're supposed to tap 5 times and tap 6 times. When you tap 5 times the rhythm is: -1234-1..- and when you tap 6 times the rhythm is -1234-12.-
Edit 2: The symbol crashes in the song usually denote the triplets (and are usually mapped as single notes). The 3 note busts in the level are not the triplets, they are simply -1234- being mapped as -123.-

God, this level is so incredibly hard. That last 50% is so very difficult. I am stuck at 91%.
I will get there but I also have a weak spot just after 50%. I keep missing the last fast turn.

Edit (2023): tbh, this was one of the most legendary levels in DL, starting from level design all the way to the theme with that epic piano part. I really enjoyed playing it after completing (cuz I was used to sync and could play perfectly) and have good memories with this level
