It proves that weight does count ! Also didn’t help the length getting caught on the curves. But boy we were slow ! Good to race you Mark. Hopefully next time will be a bit closer !!
@paulspriggs8236 I think I know why I was slower. I installed those pretty yellow rimmed tires, but the axles were wider than the 370Zs front axle. I modified the chassis to accommodate, but now the front wheels were exposed. Around the curves, the wheels (which are turning) are rubbing against the sidewalls. The consequence is higher friction. I agree with you that weight matters, and there's a sweet spot on this course. Too light, too heavy, too high up, and it spells defeat.
Some seriously competitive racing here, especially that sick convergence at the very end of Race 8! Puff will be a hard act to beat as we get towards the finals, that car was wicked consistent. Sam definitely had it there too, just a little too much Mustang at the end of the one race. The speed is real

Some of my early videos just dropped off and a couple of those had a TON of views. I was at like 3800 of 4000 but now I’m back down to like 2700. If a couple of these fast and furious videos take off, I’ll be there in no time ;)

Ok let me explain - Strikes first car was heavy and the front wheels buckled in testing. It took time to find another car so no time to custom. We wanted to enter - it was this or nothing. So way too light to complete. But a pleasure to be involved and give you all a laugh !!
camera trickery! I designed the track at an angle. That angle does not change. This allows me to film at the same angle and then when the footage is shown flat, the cars/track appear to be flat, even though they are going downhill :). Thanks for watching.
