Thank you for your great instructional videos and sharing your knowledge. I was able to remove the bumper and replace headlights on 09 Honda Pilot today. There is no way I would have tried it before seeing your simple, step by step instructions. The hardest part for me was unclipping the fog light connectors (hard to see that part in your video).
This video was extremely helpful. One alternative to using a ratchet with a phillips head for the fender wells is simply to turn your tires fully one way or another. Then a short screwdriver will work fine. > The clip tool and clip removal pliers do in fact make your life easier!!! I noted on our 2012 Pilot the clips appeared to be slightly different from the top tray vs. the lower bumper. Maybe just me. Also, the replacements I had on hand [just in case] ordered from Amazon were useless. I happen to have some OEM clips from Honda, needed one that I broke. Can't go wrong with the right parts, or the right tools. The bumper comes off surprisingly easy, just like the video. I used a cargo blanket to help protect the paint in case it bumped the driveway. Getting it back on, I need a helper.
Thank you very much for this, I was installing fog lights on my LX. The steps to pop out the friction clips had me stuck until I saw this! I appreciate the demonstration.
Thank you for this video. You have documented the procedure very well. The feft-most screw of my 2013 Pilot's front bumper fell off. I am unable to get the screw from other side taken off to know the size. Could you please let me know what size screw should I get for that, (you took off that screw ~2:41 in the video). Thanks in advance :)
You make it so easy to remove. I am scared to try it. I need to remove my headlamp assembly and I know I have to remove the bumper. Thank you very much for your excellent explanation and demonstration.
Great vid, love it. Could you please advise me how to drain coolant on 2014 Honda Pilot, I spend a whole week to find the right drain plug underneath my car but still cannot find. Many thanks.
the video was great thanks it helped me with the work i got to do in my car. can you do more videos of this car there is not to many out there. thanks again.
I need help. I bought a new bumper but when i put everything back in place theres a gap on the drivers side and idk how to make it look professional. What do u think i can do?
you didnt "replace" or "install" smh i removed the grill without taking off the bumper. can you please tell me if this 2nd gen model pilot fits any 2nd gen grill.
Thanks for making this video. I never see any stupid was making like Honda Pilot it gave very hard time to change headlights it very stupid Honda Pilot maker never buy this fucking Honda again.
Great video. Is it possible to remove the headlight with the bumper loose vs taking it off completely? I’m interested in swapping to an aftermarket headlight. Thanks.
You can remove the headlight with just half the bumper hanging off. Its just more difficult to access the bolts on the bottom of the headlight. You also run a higher risk of scratching the bumper. If your going to do it that way, it will be easier if you have another person helping out.

Thank you!! I watched this video a few times before replacing the headlights in a 2012 Pilot. I completed it without any frustration :)

Thanks man. I was able to remove the bumper and replace both headlights in just a couple hours and I am as inexperienced as it gets. Amazing videos.

Tip, use a spray bottle of soapy water on all the clips let set for a few minutes. It acts as a lubricant and minimizes broken clips.
Thank you. That was spot on and helped me remove my Pilot front bumper for new headlights.
Can you please tell me if the grille from Honda Pilot 2015 will fit the Honda Pilot 2011? Thanks!
That was VERY helpful. Well illustrated and explained. Huge thank you for taking the time to make this video.
