This video idea came from "Scroll Saw Scandinavian Pattern & Projects" by Patrick Spielman & Gosta Dahlqvist. In the book they show the lid attached with small hinges but I had no hinges that would work on this project. After two days of trying to make mine work I decided to go with a removable lid. The fit and finish of this project is not at good as I would like but intend to try it again at twice the size. I like the look of the box. The key to this project is accurate cutting for the tabs and slots. I think I did very well on this one as it dry fit very well without glue and that is how I finished it. No glue.
