- One day during the consecration at Mass, Chris Magruder heard the Lord speak to her. He asked her to show the world how heaven and earth come together during the Mass. This began a 5-year journey to create "The Veil Removed," a short film that "demonstrates the reality and power of what happens in each Mass through modern storytelling, high-quality production and a faithful representation of the beauty of the Eucharist." Rachel chats with Chris about the inspiration for the project, the miraculous events that happened during production, and Chris' hopes for what the film will accomplish.

Incredible story behind the production. God provides! The Lord was indeed a part of this mission. The project captured the very essence of the Mass and it couldn't have come at a better time when a lot have become lukewarm in their Catholic faith. The Veil Removed has to be one of the awe inspiring videos that really shows Jesus is in the Holy Eucharist!!
As a convert to the Catholic faith. One day at the military academy, while the military chaplain was conducting Mass, I saw something going on in the background like wind was blowing around behind the priest, and then he held up the Eucharist, and then I saw what I didn't expect, the vision of Jesus Christ appeared on the Eucharist, very similar to St. Faustina's vision of Christ(except no rays coming out of him), in which I had seen just months earlier.
I was very surprised! I didn't know whether to let the Father be aware of the vision that I saw or not?? Finally, I went up to him after Mass, with tears in my eyes letting him know that, yes, I saw in the Eucharist that he had held up, The Very Body and Blood of our Beloved Lord Jesus Christ, AMEN!!!
This is the way to help young people to see and believe!!
I first came across the video trailer of The veil Removed about a year ago and about 2 or 3 weeks before that I had asked an old timer that sits behind me in church what he says at the elevation of the host because I could hear him saying something but couldn't make out what it was. He told me that he says "My Lord and my God".
I asked him where he was taught that and he said it was from the nuns when he was little. He is about 92 years old and his name is Al. Also shortly before I came across this 7 minute video trailer I also learned that heaven came down at every Mass during the consecration and that our guardian angels go up to the altar to offer our prayers and petitions at the foot of the cross which is something I never knew until sometime around 2021.
I am 58 years old and I am just taking the time to learn much more about my Catholic faith.
I also attend a Latin Mass on Sundays and about 2 weeks after coming across this video trailer and speaking to my friend Al that sits behind me in Mass; I noticed in my 1962 Latin Missile that at the elevation of the host the words that you are supposed to say are "My Lord and My God".
At the elevation of chalice you say "Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on me a sinner."
I thought it was very coincidental that all these things happened so close together.
Another thing that happened was my friend Al that sits behind me, I asked him one day after Mass if he was aware that all the angels and saints come down from heaven at every single Mass during to consecration and he did not know that and this guy has been a Catholic his whole life, he's 92 years old and he goes to Mass every day. I asked him that question about a week or two before I found this video and I was able to show him the video so he could get an idea of what goes on during the Mass.

As a Director of Faith Formation, I had my students preparing for First Communion watch this film! We need to introduce our children to these spiritual realities! If they truly fall in love with Jesus and the Sacrifice He made for us, they will never leave the Church!
I learned this in books and by my priest in RCIA. It’s cool to see it on film
This short video shows what is really happening at Mass. I haven't seen the angels and asked why I couldn't see them and internally I understood that everyone around me were earthly angels and it was enough for me. Today at Mass my mind saw Helen. Once I called her and Gloria angels. Helen passed away in her car - She had pulled over, Father LaHood said she must have known something was wrong. They found her in her car. She is our Gospel choir angel. xoxo
