You are like my daughter in law. We were on a family trip and she amazed me how organized she is with 3 kids. We are blessed to have 2 medium size freeze dryer and let me tell you the food waist is almost 0 %. Glad your home safe.

The love to still your mom for some grandkids fun is a joy of a gift. Many hugs to your family and stay safe together. Times aren't good but you make us smile.
For longer term storage, a thin layer of margarine or butter on the bread before applying any dressing will keep the bread from getting soggy. My mom did this for the sandwiches we took for school lunches and it worked very well.

That seasoning you did for nuts sounds delicious! I got 2 big bags of almonds in my pickup last week so thanks for a yummy recipe to use!😋 I do this same thing when I visit my parents and kids-or the kids visit me-load them up with home canned goodies and share my stash-they don’t have any banks or CoOps near them so it really helps!

We have one of those coolers that you plug into the cigarette lighter. Ours can go hot or cold so that is kind of cool. We also now have a hot logic lunch bag. One of your subscribers introduced me to it. My husband keeps it at work in his tool box. In the morning he puts something in it and by lunch it is heated. No need to wait in line for a microwave. They come with either a cigarette or regular 110 outlet plug in.
That is a great idea! I would love one for the summer time just to keep cold drinks as we are driving around town or running to the park. I might invest in one. Do you know what brand yours is?

Carolina, I used to make a "cookie dough hummus" for my kids with garbanzos when my boys were younger that was a huge hit with apple slices! Can't wait to see the creative ways you use them.
That pin place might interest you. There are gobs of great garbanzo bean recipe including roasting them, seasoned, in the oven for snacking. Some great soup and salad recipes also. And hummus! I cannot wait to see what you do with them,
Carolina sweetie I have a few hopefully helpful suggestions to help u out maybe Heat peanut butter in the microwave or by letting sit in hot water (just remember to remove ALL the foil seal) honey let it sit in hot water it will become liquid form Wen possible like the nuts after making ur egg whites lil extra frothy mix ur sugar and spices and coat or coat ur nuts with the egg whites then add sugar and spices coat nuts With ur Cheerios u could actually use a baking sheet on the stove top using two burners of course to toast (maybe make ur butter clarified or us gee that may cut back on the sogginess) Wen making some u could mix all the dry and then add the wet just suggestions thinking work smarter not harder
You can also make the rice krispie treats and use your Cheerios instead of the rice Krispies.. really you can use any cereal...we like it... Love your channel... always gives me a smile..

Its called Cafe El Morro Espresso. It comes in an airtight 6 oz brick. We went back for more and bought the last 5 they had on the shelf. Yesterday we went to another store and bought all they had stocked. We thought it was that good lol. I looked at the website and I can order it there but their shipping is keeping me from doing it.

Thank you for continuing to talk about the food waste in the US. If it's not eaten, it goes into the overflowing landfills that cause serious environmental issues. This has been a very difficult winter ..1 in 6 US homes are behind in utility bills. Please use your local food banks..don't be shy or embarrassed..that is what they are for.
you mention coffee hydrates you i have always heard understood warm drinks are better for your throat larnxy vocal chords and bronchial tissues no matter if youve got a chest cold congestion or not as far as hydrating i think the less sugary and less salty a drink is the more youll hydrate. sugar makes you thirsty
Baby carrots are full size carrots that were broken or ugly. They get sent through a grinder that forms that little baby carrot shape. Problem is it takes all the harder outer part and leaves the more watery core. Baby carrots have the wrong texture and less carrot taste. Whole carrots only. 😂
For the energy balls next time mix the peanut butter, vanilla & honey together before you mix in the dry ingredients. Also I know you are supposed to only use setting #2 to knead bread dough in the KitchenAid. That energy ball dough is so stiff you probably shouldn't use above #2. Better IMO would be mix peanut butter, honey & vanilla together. Mix in the rest EXCEPT the oatmeal using the mixer. Then mix in the oatmeal by hand.
Coconut is optional. Basically you have a nut butter and honey and they are wet, then you add in dry ingredients like oatmeal, dried fruit, chia seeds, whatever you like.
I see you gave her a lot of meat but as I understand processed meat (like sausage) and high fat meat (pork) is very bad for diabetics. Red meats als must be eaten with caution. Best would be fish and poultry. THat is what they advise over here based on the newest research, are the guidelines different in the US?

Also warm the honey before mixing everything. It will get thinner when you warm it but will firm up again when you chill the dough.

Coconut is optional. Basically you have a nut butter and honey and they are wet, then you add in dry ingredients like oatmeal, dried fruit, chia seeds, whatever you like.
