As usual amazing videos Prabh & thanks for being selfless giving back to the community. These videos explains the elimination process and the logical option to choose from. It is bringing soo much of confidence while we start to do the Q&A. One thing about audio not sure if the audio of all your videos are too low for me or for everyone else.

Last one was pretty confusing Prabh bhai. I chose "b" but that comes ulimately . But after reading the question a few times I can now see why "Value of the asset " fits as Q talks about "First" to be considered.
I know you got the right answer. But just wanted to share my breakdown/decode with you. Before I even let Prabh speak I paused the video, then reviewed the question. "Possible impacts of loss" is just a longer way of saying RISK. so.. to rephrase it, "whats the first step to analyze risk of an asset?". The first step to security management is Identifying our assets and their value.

agree with you, question states that assessment has been already completed as the gap has been identified and confirmed between requirement and documentation. So, it is not clear to me the reason why the answer is to repeat an action already completed.
Gap assessment will be required to ascertain if there are other gaps not mentioned in the stakeholder meeting review he performed. Remember, the stakeholder meeting review just gave him a clue and he had to verify and as well make sure he is identifying all gaps that may not have been mentioned.
What is first to be considered to determine impact of loss of an asset ? -Criticality or Value So if asset cost 10000 $ but its very critical and can impact in business failure which will cost 1 million dollars. so my question when categoring an asset and it potential loss would we not consider if its critical first before estimating its value to an organisation ?
