I agree, they've got an exceptional skill to convey emotion, not only vocally but instrumentally. I'll quote from the band's explanation in Spotify: "The song depicts a conversation with the devil, making a deal with him in the verses and pre-chorus, specifying what he offers and wants in return. In the chorus we aim to break that pact, emphasizing that fame and money mean nothing without the people we love." The songs name comes from a neighbourhood in Rome, where this song was written in Thomas's home.
Hi, Uncle Momo. Great reaction, even more than usual. 🥰I agree with you, their ability to transmit and involve is that of great bands. It is a true story but, as he often does, Damiano transformed it into a story full of rather universal metaphors, given that they refer to the classics of literature. After the sudden global success, Damiano fell into depression and it seemed to him that the success they had fought so hard for had no meaning. That, in short, it wasn't worth the sacrifices they made and continued to be made. And so, in the song he talks about a pact with the devil, almost the usual pact: in exchange for talent, he will give his life and his heart. Then he realizes that it is too high a price to pay and breaks the pact. "Trastevere" was supposed to be only the provisional title of the song but, I must admit, that neighborhood is the perfect setting for this song.
Truly enjoyed your reaction and totally agree with all your comments.I love Maneskins passion and talent in all they do.Their love of music captivates me always👍❣️
Yes, another Queen comparison. I first said that about 2 years ago when I discovered this band. Queen was the favorite band of my youth back many years ago. This band has the same potential, but this is a different era. Time will tell! Just like Queen, a great frontman, good musicians and songs that are masterpieces, and others that are just fun and silly.
You're spot on. Showing emotion is considered uncool, but emotion is such a great part of Damiano's voice and Thomas's guitar. They're truly an Italian band in that sense.
I'm very sorry for your beautiful language but when Damiano sings in Italian it's magical. With your language, you have stolen all their artistic value.
Can I just say, sometimes it can be a bit hard to grasp what you say when song is on. Not a critisism, just takes me a few listens to hear what you say 😊
Stai sciallino pero' .. e sforzati dai ,trastevere puoi dirlo se te' sforzi.. ... allright cool down relax take a big breath you can make it if you realky try. "TRASTEVERE" is not that hard ahahahahahahah
Sorry i did not mean to be superb or rude, i mean that we all try our best to learn american song with the right_cool attitude . Trastevere is not that hard ❤️ if you really try it you make it! Peace and love🙏

Great comment. 👏Hope you can get to see them on 19th Dec. In Manchester. I love the variety in their style of music too.
All tickets are sold out
I agree with you completely - for many is singing TECHNICAL, WITHOUT SOUL OR PASSION. And Maneskin has PASSION, which makes connection with listeners.
They do it so naturally

It’s great to see another country dominating the rock scene so use to seeing Americans ruling it

He does set the picture very clearly and it’s amazing
Tras-TE-vere, with the "e" pronounced as in "bed".
Thank you

the passion will always be within the native language but to share it to the world, sacrifices had to be made

Apologises
@@UNCLEMOMODon't appologise 😊 We'll be fine If you could talk louder and clearer for non native english speakers 😊

Io invece credo che sia davvero difficile da pronunciare per i madrelingua inglese, tanto che quasi tutti lo sbagliano
@@MariaCristina-th si gioca ovviamente
Write the hole Text in english, If You want to show, how it is pronounced....on the second syllable...I know....but not everyone is ,,italiano".....
