In love with this video and still wondering how it doesn't have a million views. I came across it looking for Sony a6000 vintage lense footage and it became one of my favorite videos to watch. So relaxing and shot so beautifully.

Janelle, thanks for making my day! I have another video like this one called Obscure Destinies, if you haven't yet. Let me know what you think! Also subscribed to your youtube! You're super talented!

Great video. I have the Nex7. Recently purchased the adapter to utilize "vintage lenses" Do you think the Fotasy 35mm will work with the adapter Fotasy Canon FD lens from amazon? Is their chance the adaptor wont be needed? Thank you for your time!

Thanks! You don't need the standalone, if your Fotasy lens is for Sony E-mount lens (Nex7). Otherwise you'd need a canon fd to sony e-mount adapter. This may also impact the focal length (not entirely sure how), because you're increasing the distance from the sensor to the lens itself. So instead of the lens being 35mm, it would be something like ~70mm probably. Also keep in mind, that because the sensor on the nex 7 isn't full size, the 35mm lens is actually 50mm (1.5x conversion factor).
I know this was a ton of info, but hope you were able to decipher it. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Wow! The video quality is so clean! How did you get the video quality so stable?

Thanks!! It wasn't easy being on the waves! A little software stabilization was used, but not much.

I'm torn between getting the Fotasy N35 35MM F1.7 lens or the MINOLTA MD ROKKOR-X 50mm f1.7, do you have any advice?

I think both, honestly. The minolta is a great solid foundation to build on, and the Fotasy lens is a great little "boutique" lens, if that makes sense.

      Hello,
      I used these lenses:
      1. Minolta Rokkor-X 28mm f/2.8 MD bought off ebay for $44.00
      2. Fotasy 35MM F1.7 (a.co/bwKatTC)
