It's three decades since I hiked with my walking friend (sadly no longer with us) to the Bronte falls and Top Withens. This brought back wonderful memories, and reminded me it's high time I re-visited.
You must do it, I felt like I had left the 21st Century for a bit. When I came back into the village after I was on such a high too. The walk could be a great way to remember your friend.
Thank you and I am so pleased to have you along. If there is anything you would like me to look into then let me know, always happy to make videos people really want to see.
My only thoughts on seeing that final stoney path leading to the falls was - what a perfect spot for a compound fracture or two. Very scary to walk over and I doubt I could keep my balance. Good for you, walking it and filming at the same time.
It was hard work trying to keep my balance and film, I did laugh at myself at one point for doing it. It was such a lovely day, I timed it just right with the weather. Thank you for watching.
Thank you for watching and I'm so pleased you liked it. The sun helped make it a wonderful day, don't think it would have been as nice in sideways rain.
Thank you for a wonderful show, I enjoy every minute! About the cattle grates, I have found it easier to put the bar directly under my foot, at the instep and, if you have a walking stick ( I never leave home without one) you will always be stable. Just take your time. Hope this makes your cattle grate encounters stress free in the future - roam away! I'm watching from NW Pennsylvania, USA.
The best advice, thank you. Strange how childhood experiences stay with us. That’s true for the Brontës too (not cattle grids of course). Thank you for watching and it’s amazes me that my videos are watched so far away.
Wow, I can't get over how far my videos are getting. To think you are in Sweden and you came with me on that walk in Yorkshire. Thank you and welcome. I have some great videos coming up and I'm so happy you have joined me.
Did Emily keep Keeper on a lead, I wonder? Has there ever been a lead strong enough to keep Keeper kept? 🤔 Really enjoyed the video. I tend to visit in November, so it's lovely to see that walk and the falls at a different time of year.
I read that she kept Keeper on a rope/lead in the village after he had a fight with another dog once but I'm sure on the Moors he ran around. I love Haworth in the winter when it's quiet but early summer is such a treat with the sun.

Transcending space and time? I traveled with you to this glorious place, thank you
Glad you could come along. It is a magical place up on the Moors.
Great video, I first loved Jane Eyre more than 40 years ago. Thank you for teaching us more about the Bronte sisters. Love your channel.

Thank you or watching and joining me. I was so lucky with the weather and it wasn't that busy so it made it more relaxing.
What a lovely walk you had. Sigh, one of these days, I hope to follow along the same path that you show in this video.

As always, beautiful video. So sorry you had mic issues.
Hello again and thank you. It became so windy so quickly but thats the joy of the Moors. Poor mic, at least he died doing something he loved.
Is it known if Charlotte was the one to carve her name into the 'seat' ?
No one really knows but I don't think so. I think it's a modern thing. I could be very wrong. It's in the best location looking down at the bridge.
Everything was very nice but the background music was a bit sad.
Thank you.
