Budweiser Clydesdales at Worlds Fair Park Knoxville, TN

The iconic Budweiser Clydesdale horses visited World's Fair Park in downtown Knoxville on Sunday to kick start (no pun intended lol) a string of events to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the park in 2022. It was so awesome to see these giant and beautiful horses, especially as they made their way around the park. I got some nice views of them from above and the crowds that were there to see them. The park really is a beautiful place to visit. Officials announced at a Sunday news conference the 26-story golden structure, built for the World's Fair, will reopen its observation deck on Feb. 22.
The fair kicked off in May 1982, and anniversary events will mirror that timeline, with celebrations starting 40 years later to the month.
The first official event will be a concert at the Tennessee Amphitheater in World's Fair Park on May 20.
The park will host more celebrations the following day, with international food, entertainment and history walks throughout the day. Local makers also will be on hand, and "family-fun" activities are planned, according to a Visit Knoxville news release.

Thanks! Actually it’s usually not bad at all going to Worlds Fair Park. I go there often. If you want to go to market square on the weekends and at night you can park for free at the State Street Parking garage. It’s an easy walk to the shops in market square and Tennessee theater from there

Absolutely gorgeous, no matter how many times you see them in person. Just too beautiful for words and they are so pampered. They cost a fortune to maintain so keep drinking that Budweiser!!! 🙂

Me too! I saw them at the National Horse Show at the Meadowlands in NJ in the 90's where they put on a great show. Such beautiful animals!
